Youth Basketball: Ages 13-15 Boys<br />
Saturday<br />
Y member rate: $85<br />
Y non-member rate: $120<br />
This recreational league is perfect for teenage boys, giving them a<br />
fun <strong>and</strong> organized outlet to play basketball. Volunteer coaches<br />
focus on the continuing advancement of basic basketball skills <strong>and</strong><br />
strategies, with an emphasis on team work <strong>and</strong> sportsmanship.<br />
There is one practice during the week <strong>and</strong> one game on Saturday<br />
or Sunday. A jersey <strong>and</strong> end of season participation award is<br />
included with registration.<br />

This recreational youth league focuses on continuing the<br />
development of basic basketball skills, team work <strong>and</strong><br />
sportsmanship for girls of every ability. While advancing the<br />
participants? skills in dribbling, passing <strong>and</strong> shooting, volunteer<br />
coaches also lead basketball practice drills <strong>and</strong> teach game<br />
strategies. There is one practice during the week <strong>and</strong> one game on<br />
Saturday or Sunday. A shirt <strong>and</strong> end of season participation award<br />
is included with registration.<br />

Although the focus of this recreational league is on the continuing<br />
development of basic basketball skills, teamwork, <strong>and</strong><br />
sportsmanship, this girls’ league puts a little more focus on the<br />
game of basketball <strong>and</strong> its strategies. Open to girls of all abilities,<br />
volunteer coaches lead basketball practice drills <strong>and</strong> offensive <strong>and</strong><br />
defensive plays with an emphasis on having fun. There is one<br />
practice during the week <strong>and</strong> one game on Saturday or Sunday. A<br />
shirt <strong>and</strong> end of season participation award is included with<br />
registration.<br />
