Youth Flag Football: Ages 9-12 Coed<br />
Saturday<br />
Y member rate: $95<br />
Y non-member rate: $130<br />
With a focus on improving basic football skills, team work <strong>and</strong><br />
sportsmanship, this recreational flag football league is perfect for<br />
pre-teen athletes. Volunteer coaches lead football drills<br />
emphasizing passing, receiving <strong>and</strong> blocking skills, while advancing<br />
offensive <strong>and</strong> defensive strategies. There is one practice during<br />
the week <strong>and</strong> one game on Saturday or Sunday. Depending on<br />
participant numbers, travel for games may be required. A shirt <strong>and</strong><br />
end of season participation award is included with registration. No<br />
equipment is needed.<br />

Youth Soccer: Ages 5/6 Co-ed<br />

Young athletes focus on developing basic soccer skills, teamwork<br />
<strong>and</strong> sportsmanship. This recreational league is the perfect<br />
introduction to the sport of soccer. Volunteer coaches instruct<br />
children on soccer skills such as kicking <strong>and</strong> passing, while<br />
introducing basic game concepts. Games are limited to one per<br />
week <strong>and</strong> will occur on a Saturday or Sunday. A shirt <strong>and</strong> end of<br />
season participation award is included with registration.<br />

This recreational youth league focuses on continuing the<br />
development of basic soccer skills, teamwork <strong>and</strong> sportsmanship<br />
for children of every ability. While advancing the participants’<br />
footwork skills in kicking, passing <strong>and</strong> shooting, volunteer coaches<br />
also lead soccer practice drills <strong>and</strong> teach game strategies. There is<br />
one practice during the week <strong>and</strong> one game on Saturday or<br />
Sunday. A shirt <strong>and</strong> end of season participation award is included<br />
with registration. Depending on participant numbers, travel for<br />
games may be required.<br />
