Alleys and Members On The Move!<br />
Congratulations to Bruce “Koo Koo” Jordan for<br />
being presented with the coveted International<br />
Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) designation, “The<br />
Order<br />
of Merlin - Excalibur.” Bruce has been a member of<br />
IBM for 50 years.<br />
In December the clowns in Barbados got together to spread<br />
some special cheer to the HIV Food Bank of the Ministry of<br />
Health. “Annie” of Barbados spear-headed a food drive for the<br />
food bank to help children with HIV and AIDS. The clowns and<br />
volunteers worked from 2:30 to 9pm collecting food. Instead of<br />
collecting money for balloons, the clowns were paid with food<br />
items. Since they were near a supermarket it was easy for people<br />
to pick up some food and come back to “purchase” their balloon.<br />
The seven clowns collected 700 food items while creating<br />
balloons and handing out stickers. Annie said, “The day after the<br />
event, it felt so good to be a clown. We had fun together and we<br />
did something for someone else.”<br />
