Face Painting: Flowers

It's all about color, color, and more color. Split
cakes are making a splash this summer in the face
painting world. They are combinations of paint
packed in a small box that allows the painter to
apply many colors at once - sometimes up to six in
one stroke!
You can create beautiful and colorful designs
in a fraction of the time that blending individually
normally takes. When
moving the line at a fast
pace is necessary, this
technique can add the
speed required.
The method to using
the cakes is similar to
the well know Donna
Dewberry One Stroke
Painting as it modifies
some of the techniques
for applying with using
water-based paints versus
cream acrylics. The
results are stunning on
the face and also work
great for body painting
designs.
Rainbow cakes are
also the making waves.
Rainbow cakes are
several colors packaged
in a large container, that
makes it fast and easy to
apply up to five colors
to the face using one
sponge and application.
Rainbow cakes are great
to speed up full face
designs, and allow you to
cover large areas quickly and colorfully.
