Best of<br />
PRESS<br />
The Best of Press is awarded by The New<br />
Calliope editors to an alley who produces a<br />
regular newsletter. They examine the look<br />
of the publication, the content (educational<br />
material and COAI information) along with<br />
the frequency of publication.<br />
This year there were two awards given:<br />
printed newsletter and electronic newsletter.<br />
In order to be considered, you just need<br />
to add The New Calliope to your distribution<br />
list.<br />
Tom and Pat Newton also presented<br />
the “Editor's Choice” Award to Bianca<br />
Estrada for her consistent help in Spanish<br />
translations.<br />
Dawn Pearson (L) receives the Best of Press for Electronic<br />
Newsletter on behalf of Rose City Clowns from editor, Pat Newton<br />
(R). Honorable Mention certificate went to Kolonial Klowns<br />
of Williamsburg. Participation certificates went to: Korn Patch<br />
Klowns and Just Clowning Around Alley.<br />
Mary Morris (L) receives the Best of Press for<br />
Printed Newsletter on behalf of Cheerful Clown Alley<br />
from editor, Pat Newton (R). Honorable Mention<br />
certificates went to: Klownz Around Tulsey Town, Inc.,<br />
and Clowns Like Us. Participation certificates went<br />
to: Virginia Alley 3, Texas Mid-Cities Clown Alley, and<br />
Electric City Clown Alley.<br />
