ANA-MI and would like other nurses to benefit<br />

I served as delegate to ANA House <strong>of</strong> Delegates<br />
for over 12 years. I served on the <strong>Michigan</strong> Nurses<br />
Association (MNA) Board <strong>of</strong> Directors as Secretary<br />
and Vice-President <strong>in</strong> the early 2000s. I served<br />
as Reference Committee Chair and member<br />
for MNA, and served on the Strategic Plann<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Committee. I was also <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> regions/<br />
districts <strong>in</strong> the Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor areas. I<br />
provided testimony for ANA to a Congressional<br />
Subcommittee regard<strong>in</strong>g fund<strong>in</strong>g for nurs<strong>in</strong>g<br />
education and research.<br />
