Concept Pro has announced a new approach to<br />

recording aimed at giving installers and end users<br />

flexibility, choice and guidance when it comes to<br />

choosing the correct recorder for their system.<br />

Split into Elite, Professional and Lite ranges,<br />

each range has been designed with adaptability in<br />

mind, allowing customers to select the appropriate<br />

recorder for the task at hand.<br />

With one interface backed up by iPims<br />

managament software the three levels are defined<br />

as: Lite – for competitive low-cost recording,<br />

Professional – a range of robust recorders with a<br />

number of features and thirdly, Elite - high end<br />

recorders for the highest calibre installs.<br />

All three levels in the technology range include<br />

analogue and IP recording systems.<br />

Panasonic has introduced three new 5 Megapixel<br />

cameras to the i-PRO Extreme Lineup: WV-S2550L,<br />

the WV-S2250L and WV-S1550L.<br />

Each unit comes loaded with Panasonic’s selflearning<br />

technologies such as iA, Auto VIQS, colour<br />

Night Vision, and support for H.265 / SmartCoding,<br />

allowing them to record more high-quality evidence<br />

while using less storage and network resources.<br />

All of the cameras come with encryption<br />

certificates loaded in the factory environment to<br />

protect the surveillance system from unauthorised<br />

access. Secure Communication technology also<br />

complies with GDPR regulations, keeping video<br />

CCTV data safe and secure.<br />

and beacons.<br />

The units are battery powered<br />

and have a transmission range of 1km between<br />

units. The systems are portable and require no<br />

civil works or cabling. Internal and external<br />

units are available in a choice of colours.<br />

Silent test functionality is built in to<br />

minimise disruption and in all instances of<br />

activation, the initial triggered unit will<br />

continue to flash until manually re-set.<br />

Each unit utilises power saving technology to<br />

ensure a long battery life of up to three years.<br />

The latest addition to the Wisenet P premium<br />

camera series from Hanwha Techwin has two<br />

video surveillance cameras in a single housing.<br />

The PNM-7000VD is able to capture Full HD<br />

2MP images of adjacent areas with the help of<br />

two separate lenses. A 270° viewing angle is<br />

achieved when two 2.4mm lenses are installed,<br />

making the PNM-7000VD, which supports<br />

H.265 compression, ideal for monitoring large<br />

open spaces such car parks, shopping centres<br />

and warehouses. Depending on the required<br />

field of view, system integrators can also<br />

choose to fit 2.8, 3.6 or 6mm lenses.<br />

The PNM-7000VD is equipped with 150dB<br />

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Lens Distortion<br />

Correction and Digital Image<br />
