Rob Anderson
Oprema has appointed
Rob Anderson as
Business Development
Manager.
Rob has over 25 years’
experience in the
security industry in
both distribution and
manufacturing, having
previously worked for
both Norbain and
Panasonic.
Rob now brings his
wealth of account management experience to
Oprema, where he will be responsible for
building and fostering client relationships
throughout Wales and the South West.

Joanne Ellis
Long-serving SSAIB employee Joanne Ellis has
moved from being a manned guarding
administrator to be a sales executive. Joanne has
been with SSAIB for over ten years - during two
spells with the organisation.
Joanne commented: “This new role will be a
challenge, but it’ll be a good challenge for me and
it is definitely one that I’m looking forward to.
Working in the sales team will also allow me to
get out of the office more and meet people, so it
will be nice to go along to exhibitions and
regional meetings and put faces to names that
I’ve only spoken to over the phone or via email.”
Uri Guterman
Hanwha Techwin Europe has recruited Uri
Guterman to take on the newly created role of
Head of Product & Marketing. Uri will be working
with Hanwha Techwin Europe’s Country Managers
and other key stakeholders to drive the
implementation of the company’s B2B channel
programme. He will also be responsible for
developing strategies and driving programmes to
help win additional new business across Europe.
“We are delighted to have been able to recruit
someone of Uri’s calibre to this very important
role,” said Bob (H.Y.) Hwang, Managing Director
of Hanwha Techwin Europe. “We have taken the
opportunity to review our organisation’s structure
and in order to align our strategic goals – we have
merged our Product and Marketing departments.”
The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) has
appointed Ron Panter as security and fire
systems auditor, and lead auditor for ISO 9001,
based in Surrey and London.
Ron started his career in auditing with the
London Electricity Board where he held a
variety of customer service and quality
management roles. He subsequently spent
over 20 years as a quality manager for a
NACOSS Gold and ARC approved company
where he was responsible for facilitating the
NSI audit process.
“The knowledge and experience Ron brings
with him further increases our auditing
capability to deliver combined fire safety and
security audits, in turn benefitting our approved
companies and the industry at large as we
continue to work with partners across the
sector to raise standards,” said NSI’s Chief
Executive, Richard Jenkins.
Scott Pollock
OpenView
Security Solutions
has appointed
industry veteran
Scott Pollock as
Regional Fire and
Life Safety
Development
Manager. In this
new role, he will
be responsible for
building
relationships with
new and existing
clients looking to
install the latest
solutions.
Scott has over 16
years’ experience
of this sector including project design and
management through to servicing, maintenance,
commissioning and handover to meet all
regulatory requirements. He joins direct from
Consilium Contracting Services. Scott also
worked for Vipond Fire Protection.
