joins fast labelling units
The model Ytron-ZHV seen here
has an optional feed hopper
which allows powder to be
incorporated into products
New high
shear inline
emulsifier
Ytron-Quadro says the latest
Ytron inline homogeniser, the
model ZHV, defines new limits
in shear energy and reduces the
gap in performance between
traditional in-line rotor/stator
systems and high-pressure
technology. It will be
demonstrated on its stand at
the PPMA Show this year.
The Ytron-ZHV offers more
than 30 times the shear energy
dissipation of a conventional rotor/
stator due to its high velocity rotor
and special tooling geometry.
Tip speeds of up to 60 m/sec can
be achieved, says the company.
Simple change of tooling
converts the special execution
for emulsification of droplets
into an efficient wet mill for size
reduction of suspensions.
The Ytron-ZHV-0 offers the
additional benefit of being able
to convert into a high efficiency
powder incorporation unit by a
simple change of the inlet housing.
The Ytron-ZHV is available
in four sizes from approximately
500 litres an hour up to 40,000
litres an hour. Typical applications
include creams, lotions and
emulsions in the cosmetics,
pharmaceutical and food
industries.
Advanced Dynamics will
be launching bottle
filling equipment at this
year’s PPMA Show which is
joining its well established
range of labelling machinery.
The high-speed FL-122
twin lane automatic filling
system will be on the stand
offering plenty of production
advantages, backed up by
full engineering support from
the Bradford-based firm.
This flagship FL-122 filler is
one of the big brothers of the
Pack Leader group, available
in the UK exclusively from
Advanced Dynamics.
Ideal for large production
runs, the FL-122’s twelve
filling heads can cope with
a huge variety of liquids and
oils – in fact any fluid that
needs bottling at speed –
saving packaging companies
time and labour costs.
Capable of filling thousands
of bottles an hour, the FL-122
is easy to operate and boasts
a plethora of technical
features, including a drip
detection system, holding
mechanism to position the
Fillers with PVDF & titanium components
that can fill corrosive liquids is presented
Springvale will present the
latest weigh fill technology
from PACK’R, a company that
has developed fillers with
PVDF & titanium components
for filling corrosive liquids and
is suitable for high and low
viscosity liquids.
This customised machine
is designed to provide superior
chemical compatibility in
applications where stainless
steel would normally fail.
The PACK’R Monobloc has
special features such as
pneumatic and electrical
The new bottle filler
will make its debut
at the PPMA Show
this September
bottles accurately,
a no bottle-no fill system
and bottle jam detection.
There is also a choice of filling
above the bottle or from
below, to eliminate bubbling
of foamy liquids.
recent expansion
Recent expansion of its
facilities has enabled the
company to significantly
extend its stock of machines
and provide further
engineering support and
extensive demonstration
systems that are
protected from
product vapours,
while the
pressurised
control panel and
connectors are
sealed off by
junction boxes to
prevent vapour
oxidation and direct
product contact.
Additionally, all
the electrical wiring is
enclosed within a protective
sheath to greatly improve the
facilities. There has been
a strong focus on improving
the customer experience by
providing easy access
to every possible packaging
solution, all under one
roof, and developing more
bespoke solutions for specific
requirements.
In addition to launching
the FL-122 filler at the show,
the company will also be
demonstrating the compact
liquid fillers in the range.
