of formats, Atlantic Zeiser has
developed the Mediline track
& trace single item (called
Mediline T&T SI for short).
The system allows users
to encode very different
packaging sizes without
requiring any significant
format changes. In operation,
it delivers economic
serialisation of small batches
and different formats on
a very small footprint.
And if required, the height
of the printer and inspection
camera can be adjusted to
make the position of the
code variable.
Many serialisation
solutions are complex
systems that process a
multitude of packs in a very
short time, but this new
system is much simpler.

Mediline T&T systems that

the market. The new table
top system now allows
for especially economic
serialisation of small
product batches.
It can be positioned very
flexibly: if required, it can
even be operated offline in
batch-mode. The system
is very easy to operate,
requiring minimal training.

enables users to comfortably
serialise 10 to 20 cartons
per minute,” says Stefan

As long as the printing can
be done at the same height,
no more specific adjustments
are needed except for a
possible change of the
stopping point – regardless
of the packaging size which
can range from very small
cartons to shoebox-sized
packs. With an optional
barcode scanner and a
label printer, the Mediline
T&T SI can be extended
for handling manual
aggregation tasks.
The integrated Line
Manager ensures auditproof
serialisation, while
HP cartridge technology
delivers the print quality.
The standard print width of
one inch allows for up to four
lines to be printed, according
to GS1, while all components
are controlled via a central
graphic user interface.
Any changeover to new
recipes is quick and easy via
drag & drop. As the printer
layout and inspection camera
are linked via the system, no
further camera settings need
to be adjusted. To ensure
maximum process security,
a barcode scanner can be used
for order selection.
