More than 20 dance studios participated, by either their students taking master classes, having the opportunity to dance in a piece choreographed by Lehrer, working with Lehrer in class at DPHS, or participating in the opening number of a performance at the end of the week. Students in DPHS’s dance magnet program performed a work by Lehrer at the end of the week, and attendees watched fiveyear Jon Lehrer Dance company member Cristiana Cavallo perform the classic Lehrer solo The Way Within. n Et Al The new school year is underway in Central Florida, and 402 children are in their classrooms thanks to the free back-to-school physicals they received from Shepherd’s Hope. This year’s physicals also identified 51 young patients who required specialty follow-up care, ranging from otolaryngology to ophthalmology to cardiology.
