“Who is this man who has such authority<br />
that even the wind <strong>and</strong> waves obey him?” (<strong>Mark</strong> 4:41)<br />
What do you do when life shifts unexpectedly? Turn to<br />
Jesus! That’s what we discover in today’s reading <strong>and</strong> what<br />
several people discovered when they encountered Jesus,<br />
including the disciples.<br />
One day the disciples <strong>and</strong> Jesus were traveling across a<br />
large sea when a storm reared its ugly head, threatening to<br />
capsize their boat <strong>and</strong> drown them. Not only did they find help<br />
in the middle of their “stormy” life shift, they experienced a<br />
greater revelation of the person <strong>and</strong> power of Christ.<br />
The disciples weren’t the only ones to encounter <strong>and</strong><br />
experience our Ultimate Life Helper. On the other side of the<br />
sea, Jesus helped a demon-possessed man find release <strong>and</strong><br />
