Introduction to Drawing<br />

Don't know anything about drawing but wish you did? Can't<br />

draw a straight line? No problem! In this class, the skills and<br />

experience to draw everything will be gained. Students will<br />

learn elements of art through sketches and complete a final<br />

drawing using the human face and figure as tools to grow<br />

creativity and experience how to draw what you're looking at.<br />

Fundamentals of Drawing<br />

Develop your skills of close observation through individual<br />

through hands-on exercises, guided by demonstrations and<br />

discussions. Learn to represent light and apply compositional<br />

ideas to drawing, emphasizing simplification and relative<br />

comparison of masses and values. Figure model sessions will<br />

occur at varying times in this course.<br />

Right Brain Drawing Level I & II<br />

SANDRA CEAS<br />

ABILITY: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE<br />

Right Brain Drawing strengthens your observational skills to<br />

help you translate what you actually “see” when you draw,<br />

rather than drawing what you know about what you see.<br />

Students will learn basic techniques and skills including:<br />

gesturing, sighting, composition, and shading, until they are<br />

ready to venture off into projects with various mediums and<br />

contextualized concepts.<br />

SPECIAL NOTE: Students must sign up for either a morning or<br />

will create various works that evoke the spectacular Colorado<br />

landscape and gain skills that will help build a strong portfolio<br />

of sketchbooks.<br />

drawing skills. You will create various works that evoke the<br />

spectacular Colorado landscape and gain skills that will help<br />

build a stronger portfolio of sketchbooks.<br />
