Teen Leadership at <strong>ASLD</strong><br />
“I've been involved with <strong>ASLD</strong> since I was 6.<br />
I took on a leadership role because I spent<br />
so much time here and it's helped me a lot<br />
with my art. I wanted to give back and this<br />
was a way to do that and build community.”<br />

Isabella Ocaña and Carter Mehle, pictured right, serve as Youth<br />
Representatives on the Board of Directors at <strong>ASLD</strong>. They work<br />
on a team with other teen ambassadors to build awareness<br />
about <strong>ASLD</strong> in the Denver metro area.<br />
Want To Get Involved?<br />
<strong>ASLD</strong> is looking for motivated art lovers to join our<br />
Teen Committee.<br />
• Attend monthly meetings to generate ideas, plan events<br />
and strategize ways to get other teens involved at <strong>ASLD</strong>.<br />
• Get invited to fun parties and events, like inspiring exhibit<br />
openings and workshops.<br />
