This elegant twin­screw sounding<br />

ship, launched in 1908,<br />

served as the official state yacht<br />

for <strong>Hamburg</strong> senators. Since<br />

1990, the vessel has been back<br />

in <strong>Hamburg</strong> and restored to its<br />

original design. The Schaarhörn<br />

is available for charter from May<br />

The U­434 was one of the Soviet<br />

Navy‘s largest non­nuclear<br />

submarines, weighing 3,000<br />

from Murmansk, refitted and<br />

converted into a museum ship.<br />
