RECOMMENDED LOCAL ROAD (INTERMEDIATE) DESIGN Map of the recommended light fixture spacing for local, intermediate roadways. • Guidelines In order to illuminate local intermediate roads, such as the southern portions of Locust St and Monaco St, to IESNA specified standards, it is our recommendation that fixtures be mounted 20 feet above the finished grade and be spaced 80-120 feet apart, with 100 foot spacing being ideal. We also recommend that the fixtures be placed on one side of the road as shown in the above graphic in order to keep poles out of residential properties. 136 Derby Lighting & Signage Plan
