Developmental Disabilities Board<br />

The <strong>Madison</strong> County Board of Developmental Disabilities will<br />

meet at 4 p.m. Feb. 21 at the administrative office, 500 Elm St., London.<br />

Farmers’ Breakfast Series<br />

The <strong>Madison</strong> County Farm Bureau and <strong>Madison</strong> County/Ohio<br />

State University Extension are sponsoring a Farmers Breakfast Series.<br />

The 8th Annual Hearts and Flowers, a Christian social<br />

Admission is a $5 donation and one non-perishable<br />

food item. All proceeds go to Food Through Faith, a food<br />

bank in London. The evening will include music, dancing,<br />

Medication Assisted Treatment Training<br />

<strong>Madison</strong> County is the site of one of 10 trainings<br />

across the state on criminal justice medication assisted<br />

treatment (MAT). The free training is set for 8:30 a.m.-<br />

4:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Procter Center, 11235 State<br />

Rte. 38 SE, London. Registration starts at 8 a.m.<br />

The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction<br />

Services is sponsoring the trainings, which are targeted<br />

at criminal justice professionals but open to the<br />

public. The sessions will focus on the nature, application<br />

efficacy nd implementation of MAT. Moore Counseling<br />

and Mediation Services is hosting the trainings.<br />

Registration and additional information is available<br />

at moorecounseling.com/mat-training. Continuing education<br />

credits are available. Anyone who plans to attend<br />

must register ahead of time.<br />

Pancake Breakfast<br />

The Friends of <strong>Madison</strong> County Parks & Trails and<br />

the <strong>Madison</strong> County Senior Citizens Center are hosting<br />

an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from<br />

7 to 11 a.m. Feb. 9 at the senior center, 280 W. High St.,<br />

London. Adults eat for $6; children 12 and younger eat<br />

for $4. Also, a silent auction will take place from 7 to<br />

10:45 a.m.<br />

Pheasants Forever Banquet<br />

Darby Plains Chapter 956 of Pheasants Forever and<br />

Quail Forever will hold its annual banquet Feb. 16 at<br />

the <strong>Madison</strong> County Fairgrounds, 217 Elm St., London.<br />

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Food, games, prizes, raffles and<br />

auctions are planned. Proceeds benefit habitat conservation<br />

and youth involvement.<br />

Tickets are $55 for singles, $80 for couples, and $20<br />

for youths. Sponsorship options are: table, $400; banquet,<br />

$250; pheasant, $500; gold, $1,000. All tickets include<br />

dinner and one membership. Table sponsors<br />

receive one membership, eight dinners, $150 in “rooster<br />

bucks” and a drawing for gun of choice. All other sponsor<br />

levels include one membership, two dinners, $150<br />

in “rooster bucks,” and one ticket per $250 for the gun<br />

of choice drawing.<br />

Registrations made by Feb. 4 qualify for an early<br />

bird raffle. Rooster bucks can be used on games and raffles<br />

(auctions are excluded).<br />

Retired Teachers<br />

The <strong>Madison</strong> County Retired Teachers Association<br />

12:30 p.m., followed by the meeting from 12:30 to 1:30<br />
