Feb. 9 — Paws In The Park<br />
Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park hosts the<br />
25th annual Paws in the Park, the city’s largest<br />
dog walk, festival and fundraiser, featuring<br />
adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, doggy<br />
sports, food trucks, a beer garden, raffles and<br />
more. Time: 10 a.m. for a commemorative walk;<br />
11 a.m.-4 p.m. for other activities. Proceeds benefit<br />
Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando’s mission to<br />
educate, shelter, place and heal pets and their<br />
families. The event provides support for the more<br />
than 7,000 homeless pets who will be cared for<br />
at Pet Alliance’s two shelters this year. For more<br />

Feb. 20 — Spirit Night To Fight<br />
Leukemia<br />
As part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s<br />
Students of the Year, a philanthropic leadership<br />
development program for exemplary high school<br />
students, Olympia High School student and candidate<br />
Joseph Tovar hosts a Spirit Night at The<br />
Grove in Windermere on Feb. 20 from 2-9 p.m.<br />
at BurgerFi. Proceeds benefit the The Leukemia<br />
& Lymphoma Society. Before paying for food or<br />
other services, attendees should notify the staff<br />
that they are there to support LLS. Donations are<br />
also accepted online in Joseph’s name at the<br />

Auction<br />
The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, 4012<br />
Central Florida Parkway, Orlando, hosts the inaugural<br />
Orlando Wine Festival and Auction to benefit<br />
the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. Activities<br />
include vintner dinners; an outdoor festival that<br />
features live music, live auction displays, local and<br />
celebrity chefs, wineries, food pavilions and Magic<br />
players and coaches; live and e-auctions; and an<br />
Orlando Magic game. Each guest receives an<br />
invitation to the OMYF grant ceremony, where all<br />
funds from the Orlando Wine Festival and Auction<br />
are distributed to local nonprofit organizations. For<br />

March 30 — Princess Ball<br />

Drive, Orlando, hosts A. Jones Family<br />
Foundation’s seventh annual Princess Ball, an<br />
evening that highlights the positive relationship<br />
between fathers and daughters while giving<br />
back to local charities. This year’s theme<br />
is “Wonder Woman,” so attendees will meet<br />
female firefighters and police women, as well<br />
as experience entertainment like martial arts<br />
demonstrations. Dads and daughters meet<br />
many princesses from favorite fairy tale classics,<br />
as well. Other festivities include food,<br />
music, dancing, ballet performances, appearances<br />
by Orlando Magic cheerleaders and<br />
local pageant winners, royal carriage rides,<br />
face painting, caricature drawings, photo<br />
booths and more. Time: Cost: $125 though<br />
March 25 or sold out, with proceeds benefiting<br />
Crossroads Corral and Advent Health’s Patient<br />
Assistance Fund. All tickets must be purchased<br />
