Feb. 9 — Paws In The Park
Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park hosts the
25th annual Paws in the Park, the city’s largest
dog walk, festival and fundraiser, featuring
adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, doggy
sports, food trucks, a beer garden, raffles and
more. Time: 10 a.m. for a commemorative walk;
11 a.m.-4 p.m. for other activities. Proceeds benefit
Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando’s mission to
educate, shelter, place and heal pets and their
families. The event provides support for the more
than 7,000 homeless pets who will be cared for
at Pet Alliance’s two shelters this year. For more

Feb. 20 — Spirit Night To Fight
Leukemia
As part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s
Students of the Year, a philanthropic leadership
development program for exemplary high school
students, Olympia High School student and candidate
Joseph Tovar hosts a Spirit Night at The
Grove in Windermere on Feb. 20 from 2-9 p.m.
at BurgerFi. Proceeds benefit the The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society. Before paying for food or
other services, attendees should notify the staff
that they are there to support LLS. Donations are
also accepted online in Joseph’s name at the

most funds for LLS wins a scholarship. For more

Leadership Breakfast Seminar, an Insights

Disney executive and guest speaker Dan
Cockerell, sharing his proven methods on how
to “make magic” with a purpose-driven leadership
culture. Time: 8-10 a.m. Cost: $75, with
proceeds benefiting Dave’s House programs
to end homelessness for individuals with serious
mental illness and co-occurring disabilities.

Auction
The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, 4012
Central Florida Parkway, Orlando, hosts the inaugural
Orlando Wine Festival and Auction to benefit
the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. Activities
include vintner dinners; an outdoor festival that
features live music, live auction displays, local and
celebrity chefs, wineries, food pavilions and Magic
players and coaches; live and e-auctions; and an
Orlando Magic game. Each guest receives an
invitation to the OMYF grant ceremony, where all
funds from the Orlando Wine Festival and Auction
are distributed to local nonprofit organizations. For

March 16 — Strength, Power & Drive
Concert
The Walt Disney Amphitheater in downtown
Orlando’s Lake Eola Park hosts Strength, Power
and Drive, a concert performed by Central Florida

free. Proceeds benefit Orlando Youth Alliance.

March 30 — Princess Ball
Hyatt Regency Orlando, 9801 International
Drive, Orlando, hosts A. Jones Family
Foundation’s seventh annual Princess Ball, an
evening that highlights the positive relationship
between fathers and daughters while giving
back to local charities. This year’s theme
is “Wonder Woman,” so attendees will meet
female firefighters and police women, as well
as experience entertainment like martial arts
demonstrations. Dads and daughters meet
many princesses from favorite fairy tale classics,
as well. Other festivities include food,
music, dancing, ballet performances, appearances
by Orlando Magic cheerleaders and
local pageant winners, royal carriage rides,
face painting, caricature drawings, photo
booths and more. Time: Cost: $125 though
March 25 or sold out, with proceeds benefiting
Crossroads Corral and Advent Health’s Patient
Assistance Fund. All tickets must be purchased
