Lodge conducted a foundation-laying<br />
ceremony at the new Post Office<br />
building in 1910. The Post Office,<br />
located at North Main and Adams,<br />
served the city until the 1960s, when<br />
a new Main Post Office was<br />
constructed. The distinctive building<br />
became the <strong>Temple</strong> Public Library<br />
and is now part of <strong>Temple</strong> College’s<br />
Downtown Center.<br />
