March at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds<br />

delivers a sparkling mix of comedy,<br />

music, drama and even a bit of classic<br />

Music Hall nostalgia.<br />

Hancock’s Half Hour presents three classic episodes of<br />

the timeless comedy staged live in the style of a radio<br />

play by talented vocal impersonators, until Sat 2 Mar.<br />

Ardal O’Hanlon takes to the stage with his acclaimed<br />

stand-up, he saddles his high horse again and rides<br />

fearlessly into the culture wars (with a white hankie in his<br />

pocket just in case) Sun 3 Mar, 8pm (Sold out, Waiting<br />

The iconic sound of a legend in<br />

music & film is brought to life in a<br />

brand new production – Streisand.<br />

Vocal artist Winter combines her<br />

superb pitch and quality vocals<br />

into delivery of some of the most<br />

beautifully crafted songs ever<br />

The Life I Lead sees Miles Jupp,<br />

one of Britain’s leading stand-up comedians and revered<br />

actors bringing the story of David Tomlinson, star of<br />

Disney’s classic Mary Poppins, to life in a richly comic<br />

and moving tale across generations, Thu 7 – Sat 9 Mar.<br />

Irving Stage Company return with their production of<br />

Chess the Musical, told through a brilliantly powerful<br />

score written by the men behind the music of ABBA. A<br />

romantic love triangle between two players in a World<br />

Chess Championship creates an intensely moving<br />

musical, Tue 12 – Sat 16 Mar.<br />

The next Lunchtime Concert is The Kingfisher String<br />

Trio who will perform a programme of duos and trios<br />

including works by Schubert, Dohnanyi and Dancia, Thu<br />

14 Mar, 1.10pm.<br />

The Berkeley Squares are in town for Old Time Music<br />

Hall, along with experienced old time performers, a team<br />

of singers and dancers will perform all your favourite<br />

old time songs it’ll be ‘comedy all the way’! Sun 17 Mar,<br />

3pm & 7.30pm. (A fundraiser for Theatre Royal Bury St<br />

Rita, Sue and Bob, Too is a play told with wicked humour,<br />

startling insight and a great ear for dialogue.<br />

Andrea Dunbar’s semi-autobiographical play<br />

is a vivid portrait of girls caught between<br />

brutal childhood and an unpromising future,<br />

As a fundraiser for Theatre Royal, Sunday<br />

Night at the Movies with the Bury St Edmunds<br />

Concert Band will feature themes from recent<br />

films, all performed live on stage by the band,<br />

2017 Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro’s The Remains<br />

of the Day is a story for anyone who has ever been afraid<br />

to follow their heart. A former butler, Stevens, travels to<br />

find an old friend, remembering choices made and not<br />

made, journeying to one last chance at happiness, Tue<br />

Another Theatre Royal fundraiser, Belle Voci bring opera<br />

and classical crossover to the masses after wowing<br />

audiences in their blind audition on ITV’s The Voice UK,<br />
