Wedding advice for mum’s...<br />
As a milliner I work regularly<br />
with both Mother’s of the Bride<br />
and Mother’s of the Groom.<br />
They are all proud parents<br />
wanting to do their best for their<br />
children, quite often worried they<br />
will let them down with what<br />
they choose to wear.<br />
Weddings are exciting times but<br />
carry high expectations, as we<br />
have so few occasions to truly<br />
dress up, wearing a hat can feel<br />
very alien.<br />
I love it when an anxious mother<br />
tries on my headpieces for the<br />
first time and begins to realise<br />
how the right shape for her can<br />
be her crowning glory, framing<br />
her face and completing her<br />
outfit.<br />
My message to all mums out<br />
there is, don’t be scared of<br />
millinery, it’s meant to be fun,<br />
and with my guiding hand<br />
helping you to find the right<br />
piece for you, it will be!<br />
Happy Mother’s Day to you all,<br />
especially to my mum Ruth,<br />
where my introduction to<br />
millinery began!<br />
