St George’s Day

You may have noticed in the last WCA newsletter, or elsewhere. that Dan
Stratford is trying to raise £2000 for MACS (Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia
& Coloboma Support, Registered charity number 1161897). This is a very
small charity which strives to make better the lives of children and teens
born without sight or severe visual impairment.
Eleven teams took part in the quiz held on 3 February in The New Inn, a
great evening with much hilarity raised a magnificent £440 towards Dan’s
goal. Dan is most grateful for the support he has received so far and is still running with
his sights set on the London Marathon on Sunday 28 April.
