The cinema’s ground and mezzanine<br />

levels are 72,000 square feet, designed<br />

with 14 screens and 1,605 seats that<br />

fully recline, along with accessible seating<br />

areas. The lobby adds an additional<br />

10,000 square feet and includes a bar,<br />

concessions, a game area, guest services,<br />

and a party room. Additional private<br />

viewing rooms were also designed on the<br />

mezzanine level.<br />

serves as a retail anchor for the area,<br />

which is continuing to grow and attract<br />

additional retailers as the city’s newest<br />

family destination.<br />

CIELO AND CINEMAXX<br />

PARTNER IN INDONESIA<br />

>> Cinemaxx Global Pasifik, an<br />

Indonesian movie theater network<br />

and part of Lippo Group, has selected<br />

Cielo as its partner of choice for digital<br />

management of the Cinemaxx circuit in<br />

Indonesia. Founded in 2014, Cinemaxx<br />

operates 45 theater complexes with 235<br />

screens and growing in Indonesia.<br />

Cinema, said, “We are extremely proud<br />

to have been selected by Cinemaxx to deliver<br />

our enterprise-monitoring solution<br />

in Indonesia. This partnership is a validation<br />

of the value that Cielo Cinema is<br />

adding to exhibitors across the world. We<br />

are looking forward to delivering Cielo’s<br />

end-to-end digital suite of products and<br />

process-optimization capabilities to all<br />

Cinemaxx theaters.”<br />

According to a company release, Cinemaxx<br />

chose Cielo for its cutting-edge<br />

automated and highly mobile management<br />

capabilities that allow Cinemaxx<br />

to cover a vast geographic area, generating<br />

greater efficiencies for Cinemaxx and<br />

resulting in cost savings from on-site<br />

tech time and prevention of potential<br />

loss shows.<br />

officer at Cinemaxx, said, “With<br />

Indonesia, along with our aim in uplifting<br />

Cielo operates over 12,000 screens<br />

and 20,000 devices across the world.<br />

CINEMARK TO OPEN 14-SCREEN IN WACO, TX<br />

>> Cinemark Holdings Inc. will build a 14-screen theater in<br />

the new Cottonwood Creek Market development in Waco,<br />

Texas. The theater is part of a 143-acre, master-planned,<br />

mixed-use center developed by NewQuest Properties and is<br />

scheduled to open in the spring of 2020.<br />

“We are proud to work with our long-time partner<br />

NewQuest to bring the Waco community the ultimate<br />

moviegoing experience with our new Cinemark location<br />

coming soon to Central Texas,” said Mark Zoradi, Cinemark’s<br />

CEO. “With our Luxury Lounger recliners, XD<br />

auditorium, and more, Cinemark will give guests the<br />

opportunity to enjoy the newest films in one of the most<br />

innovative viewing environments.”<br />

All 14 auditoriums at the Cinemark Waco and XD theater<br />

will have advanced technology and customer-preferred<br />

amenities including: Cinemark XD auditorium; Cinemark’s<br />

electric-powered Luxury Loungers; reserved seating in all<br />

auditoriums with online and kiosk ticketing; wall-to-wall<br />

screens and enhanced sound systems in all auditoriums; 4K<br />

Barco digital projection with RealD 3-D capability; lobby<br />

lounge offering expanded food and beverage options.<br />

In addition to the new Cinemark theater, Cottonwood<br />

Creek Market will offer restaurants, entertainment, and a<br />

variety of retail shops in its 285,000 square feet of space covering<br />

63 acres. The center will also include multifamily homes<br />

and office space.<br />

Creek Market,” said Steve Alvis, the co-founder and managing<br />

partner of NewQuest Properties. “The Cinemark theater<br />

will anchor our entertainment wing, which will have an<br />

exciting collection of restaurants and retail in a beautifully<br />
