INTENSE NETBALL CLINIC: Port Alfred High School netball players and coaches were recently put<br />
through their paces by Elsunet du Plessis, a former SA netball player, who is also the head coach at<br />
North West University, better known as the Pukke, during a two day clinic held at the school. She was<br />
assisted by two of her NWU players, Jessica du Plessis, the current U19 SA captain and Monique<br />

WHAT A LOT OF CHOCOLATE! Gavin Tessendorff,<br />
manager of the Rosehill SuperSPAR<br />
congratulates Port Alfred High School pupil,<br />
Jessica Harty on her collection of chocolates<br />
gathered during her 10 second trolley dash in the<br />
chocolate aisle. The dash is Jessica’s prize<br />
sponsored by the supermarket for being the pupil<br />
who sold the most Carnival Raffle tickets. The<br />
raffle raised nearly R60,000 for school funds<br />

her accounting teacher, Judy Elliott.<br />
Elliott is leaving teaching and going into<br />
the private sector and will be missed by<br />
her pupils who reported that the cake was<br />
