Cheran is anticipating a busy new season here in Delray<br />
When sitting down with Cheran Marek, she answered 15<br />
questions about Real Estate and her personal life.<br />
1- How long have you been in Real Estate?<br />
2018 made 20 years.<br />
2-What inspired you to get into the Real Estate field?<br />
Growing up both of my parents have owned several Real Estate<br />
companies, so naturally I gravitated towards the business. I always<br />
thought it was interesting, and I enjoyed the independence factor<br />
the profession brings.<br />
3- What sets you apart from other Realtors?<br />
I think I always find a way to innovate. I strive to be different<br />
from everyone else and look for the latest and greatest new ways to<br />
market... Marketing is everything!<br />
4- How is the Real Estate market in Delray Beach?<br />
Delray Beach is booming. I have seen three markets in my career...the<br />
fabricated good, the really really bad, and now. Now it’s<br />
different, it’s a new Florida, besides Delray Beach being a one-of-akind<br />
seaside town, our tax benefits and good weather are drawing<br />
customers in by the thousands, the quality of life here is awesome<br />
and everyone is making it their primary home. Delray’s market is<br />
good because this town’s success is attractive to people of all ages.<br />
The vibe here in Delray is fun, charming, swanky, beachy and urban<br />
all at the same time.<br />
5- What do you enjoy about working at Douglas Elliman?<br />
Douglas Elliman’s marketing and overall brand in my opinion<br />
is brilliant. I couldn’t ask for a better Broker, CEO and marketing<br />
team. I really enjoy the agents I work alongside; everyone is genuine<br />
and friendly. We are a big network and family.<br />
6- To Zillow or not to Zillow?<br />
Zillow has gotten much better, BUT it is UNauthorized information<br />
and sometimes the “Zestimate” is incorrect, which causes trouble in<br />
our marketplace because customers reference this site for information.<br />
It just is not that easy to determine a value on all properties.<br />
7- What do you do all day?<br />
Emails, phone calls, manage pending sales, showings, research,<br />
open houses… It’s non-stop all day long!<br />
