They say if you throw a stone
down Federal Highway it might
just reach Boynton Beach.
That is why Posh Properties’ Realtors are touting it as the newest
live, work, play destination for fun and family living. And,
the cost of housing is much less than in coveted Delray Beach.
So, it seems like a win-win for everyone. “Living in East Boynton
Beach is not just a place to live, it’s a lifestyle,” said Jami Cauvin, a
Marina Village resident and a Posh Properties realtor in their Boynton
Beach and Ocean Ridge office.
Cauvin calls living in Boynton Beach’s Marina Village, resort living
to the max. “Where else can you go for a walk out your front
door, get a cup of coffee at the Marina Café (in the building), go
across the street and jump on a charter fishing boat or a jet ski
without getting in your car?”
She has a point indeed. Downtown Boynton Beach and the Marina
District has fast become a pedestrian village, where you can
walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, Oceanfront Park or Hammock
Park. There are two restaurants just steps away, and you can
go kayaking in the Boynton Beach Inlet before you go to work.
Marina Village offers great grounds, walkable to local eateries
That’ s not all. You can enjoy live music at the in-house Marina
Café on Friday and Saturday during the Happy Hour from 4 to 7 pm.
“Living in Marina Village is so much fun, that’s why I fell in love with
it,” said Cauvin who has traveled the world and spent summers in
the Jersey Shore before moving to Boynton Beach.
Posh Realtor Beverly Mandell also finds the intimacy and village
feel of Marina Village a comforting and exciting living opportunity.
She also sees herself and others in the building as pioneers of a real
estate destiny that transcends zip codes. “There is a renaissance
going on in Boynton Beach. There are compelling art projects like
Kinetic Art and a “Town Square,” that will have a hotel, residential
units, commercial space and a cultural center.”
Mandell also covets the camaraderie that permeates the premises
at Marina Village and the immediate area. “I see neighbors
helping one another and going on trips together. A group of us eat
breakfast at our café and we socialize in the Marina Clubroom.”
In Marina Village and the Marina district itself, it’s not just a
building, there is a strong sense of community, said Mandell. “No
condominium building is perfect, but Marina Village is as close to
perfect as I have ever seen.”
The incredible growth and interest in Boynton Beach is getting
national attention and city leaders are hearing the call. A new four-
