Paul Massey
APPOINTMENTS
Paxton has appointed Paul Massey as its new
field training engineer, covering the north of
the country, Scotland and Ireland.
Paul has worked in security and access
control for more than 20 years and has
installed Paxton systems in buildings across
Europe.
He said: “I’ve always enjoyed helping
people understand how things work and have
spent a lot of time training and mentoring
others. I started installing Paxton systems
about 15 years ago, so you could say I’ve had a
fairly good grounding!”

Brian Barrett
Elmdene International has announced a new
addition to its Business Development team in
Europe with Brian Barrett joining as the new OEM
Business Development Manager.
In his new role Brian will be leading Elmdene’s
growth throughout Europe, by working on
continuing to deliver an OEM service including
product development for bespoke projects.
Brian comes to Elmdene with over 20-years’
experience in the security industry, and the last
16-years within intruder product management, he
also has strong experience in technical sales.
Sharon Ramsay, General Manager at Elmdene
International said: “ Brian brings a wealth of
experience from the industry to lead new projects
and drive growth in Europe. We’re excited to
welcome Brian to the team.”
Darren Cooper
Pyronix has introduced Darren Cooper as
its new Account Manager for South Central
England. Darren has been with Pyronix for
over two years and joins the UK team
having worked as the International Pre-
Sales and Technical Support Manager.
“I’m really pleased to be joining the UK
team and I’m really looking forward to this
new challenge,” Darren said.
Darren has worked in the professional
security sector for over 24 years in various roles across a number of companies
before joining Pyronix in November 2016.
His appointment comes as Tom Summerfield leaves Pyronix for pastures new
after two years with the company.
“I’m delighted to be able to welcome Darren to the team,” Pyronix Sales
Director Guy Dodd said. “I’m sure he’ll be a great addition and we’re all really
looking forward to working with him as part of our sales team.”
Door Group, a unit of Assa Abloy Opening
Solutions UK & Ireland has appointed a new
Business Development Manager to help steer
and support the business’ service and
maintenance offering.
In his new role as Business Development
Manager, Lee Cook will be responsible for
developing and implementing strategies for
Door Group’s Repair, Service and Maintenance
department.
Having worked his way up through British
Steel; Lee went on to work for Kone, managing
an extensive maintenance portfolio worth £1.5
million before securing his new role with Door
Group.
With his sights set on growing the team and
developing Door Group’s service offering, Lee’s
extensive history working in the mechanical
and construction industry will bring a wealth of
experience to his new position.
Stuart Scott
Videalert has
appointed Stuart
Scott as Business
Development
Manager – North.
In this new role he
will be responsible
for managing
relationships and
developing new
business
opportunities with
new and existing clients across the Northern
England and Scotland.
Stuart has over 15 years’ experience of working in
both local government and the private sector. He
joins direct from Blackburn with Darwen Borough
Council where, as Head of Highways, he was
responsible for managing the whole highways
operations including systems deployment for
network management.
