Paxton has appointed Paul Massey as its new<br />
field training engineer, covering the north of<br />
the country, Scotland and Ireland.<br />
Paul has worked in security and access<br />
control for more than 20 years and has<br />
installed Paxton systems in buildings across<br />
Europe.<br />
He said: “I’ve always enjoyed helping<br />
people understand how things work and have<br />
spent a lot of time training and mentoring<br />
others. I started installing Paxton systems<br />
about 15 years ago, so you could say I’ve had a<br />
fairly good grounding!”<br />
Lee Cook<br />
Brian Barrett<br />
Elmdene International has announced a new<br />
addition to its Business Development team in<br />
Europe with Brian Barrett joining as the new OEM<br />
Business Development Manager.<br />
In his new role Brian will be leading Elmdene’s<br />
growth throughout Europe, by working on<br />
continuing to deliver an OEM service including<br />
product development for bespoke projects.<br />
Brian comes to Elmdene with over 20-years’<br />
experience in the security industry, and the last<br />
16-years within intruder product management, he<br />
also has strong experience in technical sales.<br />

experience from the industry to lead new projects<br />
and drive growth in Europe. We’re excited to<br />
welcome Brian to the team.”<br />
Darren Cooper<br />
Pyronix has introduced Darren Cooper as<br />
its new Account Manager for South Central<br />
England. Darren has been with Pyronix for<br />
over two years and joins the UK team<br />
having worked as the International Pre-<br />
Sales and Technical Support Manager.<br />
“I’m really pleased to be joining the UK<br />
team and I’m really looking forward to this<br />
new challenge,” Darren said.<br />
Darren has worked in the professional<br />
security sector for over 24 years in various roles across a number of companies<br />
before joining Pyronix in November 2016.<br />
His appointment comes as Tom Summerfield leaves Pyronix for pastures new<br />
after two years with the company.<br />
“I’m delighted to be able to welcome Darren to the team,” Pyronix Sales<br />
Director Guy Dodd said. “I’m sure he’ll be a great addition and we’re all really<br />
looking forward to working with him as part of our sales team.”<br />
Door Group, a unit of Assa Abloy Opening<br />
Solutions UK & Ireland has appointed a new<br />
Business Development Manager to help steer<br />
and support the business’ service and<br />
maintenance offering.<br />
In his new role as Business Development<br />
Manager, Lee Cook will be responsible for<br />
developing and implementing strategies for<br />
Door Group’s Repair, Service and Maintenance<br />
department.<br />
Having worked his way up through British<br />
Steel; Lee went on to work for Kone, managing<br />
an extensive maintenance portfolio worth £1.5<br />
million before securing his new role with Door<br />
Group.<br />
With his sights set on growing the team and<br />
developing Door Group’s service offering, Lee’s<br />
extensive history working in the mechanical<br />
and construction industry will bring a wealth of<br />
experience to his new position.<br />
Stuart Scott<br />

Scott as Business<br />
Development<br />
Manager – North.<br />
In this new role he<br />
will be responsible<br />
for managing<br />
relationships and<br />
developing new<br />
business<br />
opportunities with<br />
new and existing clients across the Northern<br />
England and Scotland.<br />
Stuart has over 15 years’ experience of working in<br />
both local government and the private sector. He<br />
joins direct from Blackburn with Darwen Borough<br />
Council where, as Head of Highways, he was<br />
responsible for managing the whole highways<br />
operations including systems deployment for<br />
network management.<br />
