ediyoruz. Balıkesir’in Sındırgı ilçesinde dokunan Yağcıbedir Halıları, bu sayımızda sayfalarımızı süsleyecek.
Son olarak olmazsa olmazımız fuarlar… Dergimiz bu sayı ile birlikte International Area Rug Market Atlanta
ve Intertextile Şangay fuarlarındaki yerini alacak. Buralarda sektör temsilcileri tarafından her yıl ilgiyle takip
edilen Decor Dergisi’nin, bu yılda fuarın gözdesi olacağından hiç şüphemiz yok.
Balikesir city on the route of Turkey’s carpet map journey
You know, the weather is hot nowadays. Following a busy period in business, everyone is in the mood of
rest and holiday in these days of summer months. In this hot weather we think you will read a nice issue
of our magazine again.
First of all, there are two important topics in this issue. The first is about the Turkish designer Firat
Neziroğlu, who made a mark on New York Fashion Week this year. He is an artist who adds his own
interpretation to the traditional art of weaving modestly. I personally enjoyed his interview very much. I’m
sure you will read him with the same pleasure.
On the other hand, we continue “Turkey’s carpet map” journey that we started at the beginning of this
year in Balikesir region this time. Good samples of Yagcibedir Carpets woven in Balıkesir’s Sindirgi district
decorate our pages in this issue.
Last but not least we focus on fairs, indispensable for trade. With this issue, our magazine will be on the
show in International Area Rug Market Atlanta and Intertextile Shanghai fairs. There is no doubt that
Decor Magazine, which is followed with interest by the sector representatives every year, will be the
favorite publication of the fair this year.
Türkiye’yi
dünyada temsil
eden “Anadolu”
aşığı bir sanatçı:
Fırat Neziroğlu
Bizim topaklarımızdan, bizi elinden
geldiğince gelenekselliğe bağlı anlatan Fırat
Neziroğlu, New York moda haftası gibi önemli
platformlarda ülkemizi temsil ediyor.
Kendisini Anadolu aşığı olarak tanımlayan Fırat Neziroğlu,
aslında dünyada kimsenin taklid edemediği ve
adına kendisinin bile koymadığı tarzının temellerini daha
ilkokulda atmış. Dedesinin yaptığı dokuma tezgahına
yaptığı ilk dokunuş, belki de Türk’e özgü dokuma sanatını
dünyanın farklı ülkelerinde anlatacağının habercisiydi.
Kilim, halı ve diğer tekstil tasarımlarında Anadolu’nun
özüne bağlı kalarak çalıştığının altını çizen sanatçı ile
dokuma üzerine keyifli bir röportaj yaptık.
Öncelikle, Fırat Neziroğlu dokuma tezgahıyla nasıl
tanıştı?
İlkokula giderken bizim sınıfın haricindeki sınıflarda iş
eğitimi dersinde dokuma yapılıyordu. Bizim öğretmenimiz
ise matematik delisiydi. Bir gün dedeme okuldan
dokuma tezgahı istiyorlar diye bir yalan uydurdum. Daha
sonra gizli gizli dokuma yapmaya başladım. Sonra Sezen
Aksu’nun portresini dokumaya başladım. Dünyada kimsenin
taklit edemediği bu tekniğin temellerini aslında ilk
defa orada atmışım. Yaklaşık 6 ay sürdü ve ardından ben
hiç dokuma yapmadım. Dokuma ile ilk tanışmam böyle
oldu.
Üniversitede konservatuar okumayı hedeflerken, ailemin
yönlendirmesi ile tekstil bölümüne girerek güzel
sanatlar fakültesinde moda bölümünü kazandım. Çok
başarılı olacağımı düşünmememe rağmen elimden
geldiğince bir şeyler yapmaya çalıştım. Sonra bir gün
üniversitede koridordan geçerken dokuma tezgahını
12
Konuk Tasarımcı
gördüm. O bölümdeki bir arkadaşta moda bölümüne
geçmeyi düşünüyordu ve biz onunla bölümlerimizi
değiştirdik. Orada hocalarımız ders anlatırken başka
şeyler nasıl tasarlarım diye sürekli düşünüyordum.
Döşemelik kumaşlar tasarlıyorduk ve o kumaşlara
ben farklı şeyler deniyordum. Bu sıralarda Türkiye’de
düzenlenen ilk kumaş tasarımı yarışmalarında birincilikler
elde ettim. Beymen Academia ve ITKIB gibi büyük
organizasyonlardı bunlar. Yarışmalar için tasarladığım
ürünlerde misina ipi kullandım. Şu anda üniversitelerdeki
bütün öğrenciler misina kullanmak ister. Onu ilk defa
Anadolu kilimi dokuyorum.
Hem halı hemde kilim dokuyorsunuz. Bu iki ürünü tasarlarken
sizde ne gibi hisler uyandırıyor?
Kilim bana sınırlı alanda sınırsız hareket etme olanağı
veriyor. Aynen hayatımdaki gibi. Herkes beni sınırlıyor;
Her evlenen aynı L koltuğu alıyor. Herkes aynı TV ünitesine
sahip.
July - August 2019 • DECOR 13
uygun ürünler çıkarmayı seviyorum. Yaptığım dokumalarda
Anadolu kilimini anlatıyorum. Ama bunları yaparken
geleneksel motiflere bağlı kalmıyorum. Benim için
neyi neden yaptığın önemli. Bir kilim motifini modernize
etmek yerine, özüne bağlı kalarak kendi anlatım dilimi
kullanıyorum.
Türkiye’nin her yöresinde farklı kilimler ve halılar
dokunmuş. Bunlardan hangileri sizi daha çok
etkiledi?
Bu soruyu şöyle cevaplamak istiyorum. Taylan kraliçesine
bir kumaş dokumak için Tayland’a davet edildim.
Oraya gidince bana ilk olarak bütün ülkeyi gezdirdiler.
Pamukların nasıl yapıldığını, ipekleri ve ketenleri nasıl
ürettiklerini ve dokuduklarını gördüm. Oradaki kadınlarla
birlikte çalıştım. Bu bir aydan daha kısa sürdü. Ben
bu süre içerisinde o ülkede tekstil adına nelerin nasıl
yapıldığını ve tekniklerini öğrendim. Bunun aynısını Türkiye’de
yapmaya çalışsak ne kadar sürer? Böyle gelen
birisini nereye götürebilirsiniz? Tahmin ediyorum ki 3
yıldan fazla bir süre zaman harcarsınız. O yüzden hangi
halıyı hangisinden ayırabilirim ki… Hepsini gerçekten
çok beğeniyorum.
Makine halısında dünyanın en büyük üreticisiyiz.
Özellikle bu halıların tasarımları hakkında neler
düşünüyorsunuz? Sizin tavsiyelerinizi dinleyebilir
miyiz?
Bende
aynı şekilde duvarlara konulacak ve yalıtıma katkı
sağlayacak art work çalışmalar yapıyorum.
Peki, New York moda haftasında Türkiye’yi temsil
ettiniz. Neler yaşadınız ve neler hissettiniz?
Daha önce ITKIB’in yarışmasında birinci olmuştum. O
zamandan beri de onlarla bağlantım kopmadı. Bir gün
beni aradılar ve New York Fasion Week’e gider misin?
diye sordular. Bende izlemeye gideceğimi düşünerek
kabul ettim.
Fırat Neziroğlu, a lover of
“Anatolia”, represents Turkey all
over the world
Fırat Neziroğlu represents our country
at important platforms such as New York
Fashion Week.
Fırat Neziroğlu describes himself as
an Anatolian Lover and he laid the
foundation of his style in elementary
school that nobody is able to imitate
and even himself cannot name. His
first touch to the weaving loom -
which his grandfather made - was
perhaps the preview that he will
tell about the Turkish weaving art
at different countries in the world.
We’ve made a pleasant interview on
weaving with the artist who highlights
that he works by abiding the heart
of Anatolia in his rugs, carpets and
other textile designs.
First, how did Fırat Neziroğlu meet
with weaving loom?
When I was in elementary school, all
of the classes except our class were
working on weaving in vocational
training lesson. Our teacher was
crazy about calculus. One day, I told
my grandfather a made-up story that
the school required a weaving loom.
Then I started to weave secretly. I
started to weave a portrait of Sezen
Aksu. In fact, I found out later that
back then, I laid this technique’s foundations
which nobody in the world
could imitate. Weaving the portrait
took approximately 6 months and
after that, I didn’t make any weaving.
This is how I met with weaving.
While I was aiming to study conservatoire
in college, with my family’s
guidance I got into department of
fashion in Faculty of Fine Arts by
choosing textile. I tried my best, even
though I wasn’t thinking that I’m
going to be very successful. Then one
day, I saw a weaving loom in university
when passing a hallway. A friend
of mine was thinking to pass to fashion
department, so we exchanged
departments with him. I was always
thinking about designing new things
while our teachers were lecturing.
We were designing upholstery fabric
and was trying something new on
those fabrics. Meanwhile, I won the
first place in different fabric designing
contests organized in Turkey.
These organizations were big such as
Beymen Academia and ITKIB. I used
fishing line in the fabrics I designed
for the contests. Now, all of the university
students want to use fishing
line. I was the one who used it for the
first time and it turned out a language
that tells about myself. I have a
thing with the concepts such as void,
nonexistence, transparency.
How would you describe this
technique that is peculiar to you?
Someone can name this after I’m
gone. Right now, I weave Anatolian
rugs.
You weave both carpets and rugs.
What kind of feelings do you
have when you design these two
products?
Rug provides me unlimited movement
in a limited area. Just like in my life.
Everyone limits me however; I find
an unlimited playground inside those
limits. I think rug is something like
that. On the other hand, carpet is a
pile product that you tie a knot and
cut. That’s why it feels more static for
me. Because of this reason, mostly I
try to make rugs. I think the main point
in this is about knowing how close
are you to the target.
You use waste materials as well in
your designs. How does it feel to
develop new products from these
materials?
I highly respect Anatolia. The Anatolian
people don’t throw anything away.
For example, there are patchwork
style carpets. These are the carpets
which were used in Anatolia. It looks
like they came from abroad but these
are actually existing in our heart. As
humanity, we batter the world too
much. That’s why I’m against the
plastic production. Also, I support to
recycle the remaining textile products.
What does modernism mean to you?
I’m quite against to this concept. Modernism
standardizes the individual
and presents you without looking out
for anybody’s needs. Every marrying
couple buy the same L shaped sofa.
Everyone has the same TV unit. You
can guess more or less where the
glasses are when you visit a house.
All of these are consequences of this
concept. Everyone in Anatolia tries
to be modernized by leaving his/her
core. For instance, a woman makes
a lampshade. However, the outcome
is not so good because she doesn’t
have any idea where or how to use
the lampshade. All that effort goes to
waste. Because of this, I’d like to create
products proper to our tradition. I
describe Anatolian rug in my weavings.
It’s important for me what I’m
doing and why I’m doing it. Instead of
modernizing a rug’s pattern, I use my
own expression language by sticking
to its core.
Different types of rugs and carpets
are weaved in every region of Turkey.
Which ones among these influenced
you the most?
I’d like to answer this question in this
way. I was invited to Thailand to weave
a fabric for Queen of Thailand. When
I got there, first they showed around
me all the country. I saw how they
make the cotton, how they produce
and weave the silk and linen. I worked
with the women there. This took me
shorter than a month. During this
period, I’ve learned that what and
how are they doing in the name of
textile and their techniques in their
country. How long would it take if we
try to do the same in Turkey? Where
can you take someone who comes to
your country? My guess, you would
spend more than 3 years. So, I cannot
discriminate any carpet… I like them
all, really.
We are the biggest machine-made
carpet manufacturers in the world.
What do you think about especially
the designs of these carpets? May we
listen your advices on this subject?
Unfortunately, I don’t find the sector
excited and innovative in this sector
at all. Because when we do something,
we look at abroad first if it’s
been done before. I mean we don’t
have the courage to make something
we’ve never seen before. There were
cathedrals and tall buildings before
and they were covered with textile and
fabric. I’m making similar art-works
which can be placed to the walls and
contribute to the insulation. However,
when I show it to the manufacturer,
the answer is no.
You have so many achievements
and works in the international
arena. Could you talk about these
achievements?
I’ve held my first solo exhibition when
I was a student İzmir 9 Eylül University,
Faculty of Fine Arts in the year of
2000. Even the teachers weren’t able
to hold exhibition in that period. I’ve I
broke a new ground on this subject.
Then I’ve attended to the design contest
of Beymen Academia which had
a 5-month elimination period. In this
period, each month different juries
were visiting and eliminating us. I won
Beymen Academia after a difficult
period.
So, you represented Turkey at New
York Fashion Week. What have you
experienced and felt?
I had won the first grade in the contest
of ITKIB before. I haven’t lost my
connection with them since then. One
day they called me asked me if I can
go to New York Fashion Week. I agreed
by thinking that I’ll be watching.
They asked me about the status of my
collection and I have 15 days to get
prepared. Then we prepared all the
collection in 12 days which consists
of 56 pieces by gathering an amazing
team. It was a pleasant experience
for us.
şŞimdi sizleri 3000 yıl öncesine götürüyoruz. Anadolu
Tarihi, Türklerin İslamiyet’i
kabul etmesinden öncesine kadar dayanan bu yerleşim
yerinde halılar, Yağcıbedir Yörükleri tarafından
Eşmedere, Çakıllı, Karakaya, Alakır, Eğridere köylerinde
orijinaline bağlı kalarak dokunuyor. Desenler,
hüznü, sevinci, gelecek hayattan beklentileri ve ahiret
hayatına bakışı anlatıyor. Koyunlardan alınan yünlerin
iplik haline getirilmesi ve doğal boyalarla renk verilmesi
ilmekle, desenlerin oluşturulması ile Yağcıbedir
kültürü yaşatılıyor.
Motifler
Yedisulu: Yağcıbedir Halılarının kenar motiflerinde
bulunan suyollarının yedi tane olması, gökyüzünün
yedi katlı olduğu düşüncesidir. Bu suyollarının orta
kısmında bulunan beyaz suyolunda nazar boncukları
bulunmaktadır. Bunun iki yanında kedi izleri ve hayat
zinciri ile birbirine bağlanmış motifler bulunmaktadır.
Bu motif ağırlıklı olarak Çakıllı Köyü tarafından
kullanılıyor.
Heybesulu: bu motifin ismi Yağcıbedir Yörüklerinin
atlarının sırtlarındaki heybelerde bulunan desenlerden
geliyor. Köylülerin deyimi ile “çam kobağı” heybesulu
motifini oluşturmaktadır. Tarla sınırı anlamını
taşımaktadır. Heybesulu kenar motifleri, genellikle
beyazsulu nazar boncukları ile beraber kullanılmaktadır.
Bu motif ise ağırlıklı olarak Eşmedere Köyü
tarafından kullanılıyor.
Yıldız Dönüşü: Yıldızların güneşin etrafında dönmesi,
bu motifin oluşmasına sebep olmuştur. Eğridere ve
Çakıllı Köylerinin halılarının kenar motiflerinde sıkça
rastlanmaktadır.
20
DECOR • July - August 2019
sebep bereket beklentisidir. Aynı beklenti
Yağcıbedir Halılarının rengine de yansımıştır. Yörede
bulunan sarıkız otundan elde edilmektedir.
Kahverengi (narınç): Bütün canlıların topraktan gelip
toprağa dönecek olması ve canlıların besinlerini topraktan
temin etmesi sebebi ile kahverengi Yağcıbedir
ikinci suyuna çalı kozalakları
Siyah (kara): Halıda en az kullanılan
renktir. Siyah hüzündür. Yaşlı kadınlar
siyahı daha çok kullanmaktadır.
Yumuşak siyah kayaların bitkilerle
kaynatılması il elde edilir. Eğridere
Köyü ve Alakır Köyü siyah rengi
kullanmazlar.
Beyaz (ak): Genç kızlar bu rengi
daha sık kullanır. Sık kullanmalarındaki
sebep beyaz rengin sevinci,
hayattan beklentilerini ve gelin olma
özlemlerini dile getirme arzularıdır.
Genellikle Eğridere ve Alakır
ATMYSPHERE as
the keynote theme for
Domotex 2020:
Inspired by the health megatrend, the keynote theme
for Domotex puts wellbeing, naturalness and
sustainability at the top of the agenda
• Stronger focus on contract business
• Manufacturers invited to creatively frame their
products as expressions of the keynote theme
After a successful Domotex 2019, preparations
are already ramping up for the 2020 edition of the
world’s leading trade show for carpets and floor
coverings. The upcoming show, to be held from 10
to 13 January 2020, has ATMYSPHERE as its keynote
theme, symbolizing its central focus on all those
qualities of floors and floor coverings that contribute
to wellbeing, naturalness and sustainability.
Examples of products from the floor coverings
industry that possess these qualities include floors
with acoustic properties or sound-insulation
components; carpets that bind fine dust particles
or have thermal insulation properties; resilient
floor coverings that are hypo-allergenic; and natural-wood
floorboards that improve the interior
climate by capturing excess humidity and releasing
it again when the air in the room is dry. Other
qualities that enhance positive indoor atmospherics
include softness and pleasantness to the touch,
sustainability, and aesthetic details that help
transform rooms into oases of personal wellbeing.
“This year, as indeed in previous years, the lead
theme is inspired by a current megatrend,” explains
“And that trend is society’s heightened focus on health.
Health is synonymous with quality of life and
living well – and therefore translates into high expectations
of the spaces around us. Alongside this,
considerations of sustainability and recycling – and
hence natural materials – continue to play a major
role in our society. In terms of floor coverings,
these are considerations and themes that are currently
very much to the fore with our exhibitors and
their work, especially given the great importance of
floors as elements of creative interior design. With
the right materials and design, carpets and floor
coverings can be important factors in personal
wellbeing and in the design of homes and workplaces
that promote it. That is why ATMYSPHERE is
of such definitive importance for all our exhibitors
ultimate in carefree outdoor living. The natural
accentuate the wood’s natural characteristics.
The planks are treated with certified natural oils
to bring out the natural wood colors, resulting in
an exquisite collection that comprises 12 distinct
variants. The collection is a celebration of natural
wood materials, its various elements all working
together to create unique floorscapes with an
unmistakable aged-wood charm. And like all natural-wood
floors, they help create a comfortable
indoor climate by regulating humidity.
“Small as this selection is, it shows that our Domotex
exhibitors are developing a comprehensive
range of products that designers can use to create
atmospheres of wellbeing and ideal workplace
environments,” says Wedell-Castellano.
With its stimulating, high-quality program of
talks, lectures and discussion panels based on the
ATMYSPHERE keynote theme, “Framing Trends”
is the beating heart of the Domotex show. It is a
forum where creatives from all design-oriented
professions can meet up, make new contacts, find
inspiration and do business.
The organizers are keen for the show’s exhibitors
to get behind ATMYSPHERE and make it happen.
“Ideally we would like all exhibitors – whether
exhibiting within or outside the ‘Framing Trends’
showcase – to draw inspiration from it and hence
base their displays in a meaningful way on our
keynote theme,” explains Wedell-Castellano. “That
way, ATMYSPHERE will be reflected in all of the
exhibition halls, creating the perfect, attractive atmosphere
for four busy days of tradeshow action!”
Prospective participants invited to apply now with
their innovative ideas inspired by “ATMYSPHERE”
ABD’ye
İhracatın Püf
Noktaları
TABA-AmCham, Türk iş
dünyasına ABD’de yatırım
yapmanın inceliklerini,
hazırladığı “Türkiye-ABD Dış
Ticaret Yatırım Raporu 2019”
kilit noktasını “eyalet ve federal
bazda verilen güçlü teşviklerin
iyi analiz edilmesi” olarak
gösterdi.
Türk-Amerikan İş Adamları Derneği-Amerikan
Ticaret Odası Türkiye (TABA-AmCham), ekonomik
yavaşlamadan kurtulup hızla büyümeye geçmek
için ABD’ye ihracatın artırılması gerektiğine dikkat
çekti. Şu an ABD’nin yaptığı ithalattan Türkiye’nin
sadece yüzde 0,4’lük pay aldığına vurgu yapan
dernek, Türk iş dünyasına mevcut durumda bölgede
başarılı olmanın tüyolarını hazırladığı “Türkiye-ABD
Dış Ticaret Yatırım Raporu 2019” ile verdi.
Doğru iş planı...
ABD’nin halihazırda 2,6 trilyon Dolarlık ithalat, 1,6
trilyon Dolar da ihracat yaptığına dikkat çekilen
raporda, ülkede iş kurmanın avantajlarına da yer
verildi.
Critical points in
exporting to the USA
TABA-AmCham issued a report titled “Turkey-USA Foreign Trade Investment
Report 2019” that details about the investment opportunities in the USA for
businesses in Turkey. The report shows that the key for success lies on the
intelligent analysis of the incentives offered by the state and federal levels.
Turkish-American Businessmen Association, TABA
and American Chamber of Commerce underlined the
importance of increasing exports to the USA in order to
overcome economic slowdown for faster growth. The
association underlined that Turkey had only 0.4 percent
share in the total imports of the USA, and offered its
advices to Turkish businesses for better performance in
this region.
The right business plan
The report pointed out that the US was currently importing
2.6 trillion dollars and exporting 1.6 trillion dollars,
and also mentioned the advantages of establishing businesses
in the country. The report also stated that the
major reasons for not being successful in the USA were
the lack of a correct business plan, the desire to achieve
results in a short time, the lack of human resources to
compete in the foreign market and insisting on traditional
promotional methods (fairs, exhibitions, etc.).
Access to finance
The report which stated that exports to the United States
or establishing business there are also critical to branding
and tries to find answers to the question, ”Why invest
in the US”. It says, “Free trade agreements with 20 other
countries provide opportunities to access hundreds of
millions of additional consumers. The United States is
also one of the best in the international arena for its ability
to do business and access to finance, labor capability and
protectionism. On the other hand, the country has rich
resources, especially oil and gas. The report explains the
key points of success in the US:
Incenvites by state
• Short-term operations and long-term strategic plans
for the market should be established.
• Since customer rights are well protected, logistics planning
should be done in detail and quality should be given
Ali Osman Akat
importance.
• Because commercial laws vary widely in federal, state
and city basis, these services should be of high quality
and well managed.
• Market / opportunity research findings and supply-demand
structure should be analyzed in detail.
• Supply chains, brands and price strategies should be
investigated in detail.
• Specific rules for the sector should be analyzed on the
basis of state and federal laws.
• Incentives are one of the most important issues that
vary from state to state. Some of these incentives are
provided by state and some are covered by Federal incentives.
These assignments should be studied well.
• Data and information on state basis, ‘tax relief’, ‘customs
duty exemption’, ‘investment land allocation’, ‘educational
support’, ‘financial support’ are important.
• Real estate tax reduction, income tax reduction and
R&D support data are provided besides customs tax
exemptions, insurance premium, employer share support
and unemployment insurance discounts are made within
the scope of federal incentives. These should be analyzed
well.
Domotex Mexico’nun hedefinin Meksika’daki döşeme
endüstrisi için profesyonel bir buluşma yeri sağlamak
olduğunu da söyleyen Eugenio Carrillo, “Bu, döşeme
çözümlerine adanmış ilk gösteri olacak. Latin
Domotex
heads to
Mexico City
this fall
The Domotex franchise is setting its sights on the
Latin American market with the debut of its newest
show — Domotex Mexico — to be held in Mexico City
October 15-19 in conjunction with Expo CIHAC, the
largest construction materials show in Latin America.
Here at the inaugural Domotex USA event, Eugenio
Carrillo, group show director Hannover Fairs Mexico,
explained to FCW why now is the right time to bring a
show to the Latin American market, pointing specifically
to its booming construction market which is ripe
for product innovation.
“We want to make connections between suppliers,
specifiers and remodelers in Mexico, and it’s good
timing to because of the real estate boom here in
commercial and housing, and the increased demand
for flooring solutions,” said Carrillo. “In Mexico City,
the commercial and office market is growing rapidly.”
Domotex Mexico is new opportunity point
And with cement, tile and marble dominating this
particular market, Carrillo said Domotex Mexico will
bring professional buyers in this market the opportunity
to specify soft surface and other textiles as well
as other hard surface products such as hardwood.
“We will focus on the same product segments as in
Germany while also displaying new and innovative
stone and ceramic products,” said Carrillo. “We
will have a diverse group of suppliers from different
countries — 50 percent of exhibitors will be from
outside of Mexico. But we understand that we need to
be flexible and adjust to market needs.”
The goal for Domotex Mexico, said Carrillo, is to
provide a professional meeting place for the flooring
industry in Mexico. “This will be the first show
dedicated to flooring solutions,” he said. “We want
to bring the Domotex brand to the region to reach
the Latin American customer, and with the Domotex
brand behind us, we’re not starting from scratch.”
Expo CIHAC experience at Domotex Mexico!
And with Expo CIHAC anticipating upwards of 30,000
paying attendees, Carrillo said having Domotex Mexico
situated within the largest construction materials
show in the region will bring exhibitors opportunities
to have meaningful conversations with professional
buyers, developers and members of the A & D community.
San Deco
husus sayabilirim. Bunları üçe indirmemi isterseniz,
bunlar, yaptığımız işe tutkuyla sarılmak, kaliteden
asla ödün vermemek ve müşterilerimizin memnuniyetini
garanti etmek olarak özetleyebilirim.
kamızda yılda 28.000 ton üretim kapasitesiyle üretim
yapmaktayız. Türkiye’de A+ sertifikasına sahip ilk ve
tek boya üreticisisiniz. San Deco’yu farklı kılan özellikler
nelerdir?
faktör A+ değildir; aynı zamanda çok kaliteli, tutarlı
performans, efekt çeşitliliği ve kullanım amaçlarına
sahip benzersiz ürünler sunarak uygun fiyatlarla da
yüksek kaliteli dekoratif etkili boyalar ve doğru bilgi
birikimi ile harmanlanmış kaplamalarda en geniş
ürün yelpazesine sahibiz. Ayrıca ürettiğimiz tüm segment
ürünlerle, yenilikçi Ar-Ge çalışmalarımızla her
zaman destek vererek, dünyanın dört bir yanındaki
farklı coğrafyalarda tutarlılık ve güvenilirlik konusunda
olağanüstü bir kalite standardı oluşturuyoruz.
San Deco’nun 3 ana prensibi nedir?
“Dekoratif boya” konusunda uzman
olduğunuzdan bahsettiniz. Dekoratif boya
nedir? Tercih edilmesinin nedenleri nelerdir?
kullanabiliyor.
her yerindeki mevcut trendlerin işaret ettiği loft
temasını veya toprak renklerini seçiyor.
Çözüm sağladığınız sözleşme projelerinden
bahseder misiniz?
only brand motto of San
Deco. The brand shines at
and to the careful selection of the product
range with especially value added product and its developments,
San Deco expanded and offered different
products and solutions to the market by also starting
the export operation where the success story begins.
The success of our company is the result of an outstanding
quality products and services coupled with
and dynamic team of San Deco also contributes
significantly to the sustainable progress of the
Offering many different projects in interior design
or in the construction industry in general, San Deco
focuses mainly on textured effect paints and coatings.
The company addresses to high-end architectural
paint projects. We made an exclusive interview with
San Deco that recently took its part in Istanbul Airport
project with its decorative effect paint products. Full
text of the exclusive interview with Gülperi Odabas,
Chairwoman of the Board of San Deco, follows:
Could you summarize the story of your
successful brand?
San Deco was established in 1965 in Istanbul, Turkey.
During the first years of establishment, the company
was on the local business market, manufacturing
and selling several products only. Through the years,
Could you mention about your product range
and production capacity?
As San Deco, we offer products to our customers in
7+ product segments by having main activity in effect
paint and coatings. However, interior paints, exterior
paint and coatings, high performance paints, acrylic
isolation paints, primers and putties, and hobby paint
products are the other ranges within our product
segments. While we are serving variety of products
through our customers, we produce with the production
capacity of 28,000 tons per year in our factory.
You are the first and the only painting producer
that has A+ certificate in Turkey. What are the
features that make San Deco different?
Having principle of producing by never compromising
of quality, we always invest for producing value added
products and their unique features differentiating
and reliability all in different geographies all over the
world with always supporting with our innovative R&D
works.
What are 3 main principles of San Deco?
‘Beyond the colors’, yes it really is. Like in our brand
motto, we set ourselves for something beyond the
colors, and we do everything to make things more
than paint, more than colors. In order to this, as our
principles I can count many of them which we certainly
follow no matter what but can summarize them
in 3 as working always with passion for what we do,
never compromising of quality and committed for our
customers’ satisfaction.
You mentioned that you are specialized in
“decorative paint”. What is decorative paint?
What are the reasons of preferability of it?
Decorative paint with also some saying as effect paint
is a paint leads you to have textures and effects on
surfaces applied in order to achieve desired decorative
look with its specific features according to type of
product selected. With having cutting edge, innovative,
artistic and also many other impact features allows
end user to select decorative paint and coatings in
their interior and exteriors. Sometimes a designer,
sometimes an architect or a project owner or evermore
a final end user, there is always a reason for them
to select decorative paint. Whoever wants to enhance
their vision with some paint, decorative paint will be
the selection and it will be San Deco!
us from the others. A+ certificate is one of them and
allowing us to prove our products features with having
the right awareness to human health and environmental
responsibilities. As San Deco, we are the only
effect paint and coating products or decorative product
producer having this certification and proud to offer
it to our customers with minding our responsibilities
to them in highly manner.
Nonetheless, A+ is not the only factor differentiates
our product to the others; we also have the widest
range in high-end effect paint and coatings blended
with the right know-how by offering unique products
in very high quality, consistent performance, variety in
effects and usage purposes by also having in affordable
prices. Moreover with all segments we produce,
we make a point of outstanding quality, in consistency
What kinds of solutions do you offer to the
contract industry? What are the most preferred
painting varieties in this sector?
Since operating more than 40 countries in 4 continents,
I can count and order many projects and
tenders San Deco involve within these countries we
are in. With all the approach and reasons I mentioned
above San Deco adopts, we are ambitious for
any projects fits for San Deco. With the all segments
we manufacture, we offer many different projects
in interior design or generally construction market.
Solutions we make are simple, we offer our products
for the ones differentiate themselves from others and
with also giving the right support after sales. Through
our segments, since we focus mainly for textured
effect paints and coatings, addresses seek for high-end
architectural paint projects are the target and
they mostly select from our range according to their
desired effects such as a premium hotel chain project
July - August 2019 • DECOR 57
where they use our natural stone effect paint until a
government project use special textures such as silky
metallic coating for all over their interiors. Apart from
decorative paints, in contracting projects we also take
part in emulsion paint projects where we offer mainly
interior paint or exterior paint with their supporting
products such as primer or putties. However, I would
like to stress out our contracting projects in Europe
especially France where we offer high performance
roof and facade paints where we achieve many housing
projects where country government endorse for
renovation.
Do you explain 2019 trends that overlook at the
contract projects?
It is relatively hard for me to tell a specific color
or product of San Deco since we involve with many
different cultures and so many different tastes all
over the World for the countries our product exist. For
instance, European country tastes for soft colors and
light texture products where another country taste
for colorful and high glossy textures or etc. But many
contracting projects we involve recently is mainly
selecting loft theme or earthy colors where current
trends follows all over the world in common.
San Deco remain its activities in more than 40 countries
with also promoting its expertise together with
strategic partners. These countries are Albania, Algeria,
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands,
Ethiopia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Iraq, Ivory
Coast, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon,
Libya, Macedonia, Malta, Mauritania, Mexico, Montenegro,
Netherlands, Nigeria, Qatar, Romania, Russia,
Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Singapore, South
Korea, Taiwan, Tanzania, UAE, UK, and Vietnam.
With the ideology of expanding as much as countries
all over the world, San Deco sets the expansion target
to 6 continents and as much as country to serve in.
Could you mention about contract projects you
provided solutions for?
Like I mentioned earlier, with the operation in more
than 40 countries, we are delighted to involve many
different contracting projects in different locations all
over the world. This could be a well-known hotel chain
decorative texture effect project in Balkan countries
or a landscape paint project in Qatar supported by government
or a well-known coffee shop chain project
using loft theme decorative texture paint in Mexico.
Apart from that as a local contracting projects, involving
many different government endorsed housing
projects using decorative effect paints or emulsion
paint as well as supporting products from our range.
As an example of local business contracting projects,
we recently took part in Istanbul Airport project
serving our special expertise decorative effect paint
products for more than 15,000 m2 or a tender for
presidential project where a museum is being built in
Ankara for loft theme texture paint more than 10,000
m2.
Can you touch on activities of San Deco in
abroad? What are the countries you export and
you target?
istediklerini ifade etti
DECOR • July - August 2019
Şu an
Eminim
ileri vadede markalarımız ihracatta daha da başarılı
noktalara gelebilecek.
İhracatta kendinize nasıl bir rota çizdiniz?
Ciromuzun yüzde 30’unu ihracata ayırıyoruz. Daha önceki
yıllarda bu yüzde 20’ydi. 2020’ye kadar amacımız
bu oranı yüzde 50’ye çıkarabilmek. Kilogram başına
5-10 dolar ihracat gerçekleştiriyoruz. 2023’e kadar
tamamlanmak üzere Sakarya’da Mobilya Organize Sanayi
Bölgesi’nde 40 bin metrekare üzerine kurulumu
gerçekleşecek bir fabrika yatırımımız bulunuyor. Yılda
yaklaşık 120 bin kapı üreten üretiyoruz. 2011 yılından
bu yana 500’ü aşkın kentsel dönüşüm projesindeki 15
bin lüks konutun vazgeçilmezi olduk. 100’ün üzerindeki
markalı projede bulunan 25 bin konut için ürün
temin ettik. 2018 yılında ekonomideki durgunluğun bu
kadar derinleşebileceğini hiçbirimiz öngöremiyorduk.
Bu anlamda hedeflerimizin bir nebze gerisinde kalsak
da yine de büyüme gerçekleştirebildik.
Cemal Aslandağ:
“We’ve locked on
exportation in 2019”
Door and Kitchen products are another branch in
the furniture industry where the country has foreign
trade surplus. Turkey has started serial production
for door and kitchen manufacturing around 2000’s.
Workmanship manufacturing slowly developed into
brand factories. Today Aslandağ Group who proved
their brands in both door and kitchen industries,
showed their success to the market by Tresette Kitchen
products which fit luxury kitchen standards. And
with their door brand Artella which has become a necessary
brand in boutique or brand name apartment
buildings. Aslandağ Group’s CEO Cemal Aslandağ
has emphasized that the company has a continuous
self-development and research with the power of
their 60 years of expert background. Following is an
interview highlighting the company’s main objective
is exports of their products.
How was the first half of this year?
In London, we had started to serve our customers at
Turkish Trade Center. We promoted our store 4A Collection
in Etiler District and we increased our export
trading by those actions. Meanwhile we keep supporting
our social responsibility projects.
How could you provide and keep your brands name
alive in nationally and internationally?
Best promoting comes with after a successful finished
job. Then the people’s recommendation about
your job to the others. Briefly saying, you consolidate
your place with every success end product. Always
we defined our limits to the best. We did not hold investing
back. We cared about institutionalization and
marketing activities. We follow the world trends and
applied them. Customer trust is important to us. All
those brought us a successful brand familiarity.
You sell your product even to Italy where has many
famous brands. What is the secret of success?
As I said before we are investing in that. For example;
for 3 years we have been making a contest which
name under “I design the door” for university students
whose studying at industrial design, architec-
ture and interior architecture. For the first look you
can ask like “It is just a contest but how can it help on
our industry?” All those thoughts make our step way
down. However, our aim is put some enthusiasm on
design to our next generation. Their imaginations are
like a pushing force effort ourselves to realize their
designs to real life by hardly production. We want to
tell them to draw their attention; “Hey look also you
can take your interest on door and kitchen industry,
too!” There is nothing like impossible. We own all
labor force, employment and technology. We just lack
of branding, and having false marketing actions. You
see that Aslandağ is affording on those mostly.
What kind of advantages did come to Aslandağ with
your brands first Artella Wooden Door Systems and
secondly Tresette Kitchen brand?
Artella found its best place in the market. At the
moment you can see Artella Door Systems in most
of branded residence projects found in Istanbul. Also
we are on 75 percent of Bağdat Street buildings where
is the heart of urban renewal. With Tresette we
aimed luxury kitchen furniture market. And we catch
the success there too. We export both our brands. In
Turkey we are leading an industry which is not talking
and also not exporting to foreign countries. I am sure
that our brands will find more successful points in
exportation.
Aslandağ Group, one of the
Turkish Door and Kitchen
manufacturers, geared up for
exportation of their products
despite the Turkish building
and construction industry
has slowed down. Aslandağ
Group’s CEO Cemal Aslandağ
says, “We want to make Turkey
as a brand country at door and
kitchen industry in the world.”
in over 100 urban renewal projects. In year 2018 we
did not expect economical inertia. For this case we
dropped behind our aims but even we realized growth
in the company.
What kind of map did you draw for exporting
products?
We invest our 30 percentage of our endorsement to
exportation. Last years it was around 20 percent.
Our purpose is raising this rate to 50 percent. We do
export for 5-10 Dollars per kilogram. Also, we have
on going 40000 square meters factory investment
which going to complete in 2023 in Sakarya Organized
Industrial site. We produce 120 thousand doors in
a year. 15 thousand luxury housing in over 500 urban
renewal projects had chosen our doors since 2011.
We supplied products for 25 thousand residences
Lalenin
halı hali
İstanbul’da 570 bin lale
kullanılarak hazırlanan
dünyanın en büyük canlı
lale halısı, Sultanahmet
Meydanı’nda vatandaşların ve
turistlerin izlenimine sunuldu.
İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi bu yıl İstanbul’u 20
milyon lale ile süslüyor. İstanbul’un en önemli simgelerinden
Sultanahmet Meydanında ise dünyanın en büyük
lale halısı motifi vatandaşların beğenisine sunuldu.
İBB tarafından 5’inci kez hazırlanan, farklı renkte 570
bin lalenin kullanıldığı 460 metrekare boyutundaki lale
halısı büyük ilgi gördü. Yerli ve yabancı birçok turist
lale halısı ile hatıra fotoğrafı çektirdi. Havadan çekilen
görüntülerde ise rengârenk motif şeklinde dizilen hale
halısının tüm güzelliği gözler önüne serildi.
Sultanahmet meydanında sergilenen, lale halısı motifinin
bulunduğu yerde konuşmada bulunan İBB Başkanı
Ekrem İmamoğlu, lalelerden halı yapmanın geleneksel
hale getirildiğini belirterek, bunun İstanbul’a yakıştığını
Carpet,
the most
beautiful
form of tulip
The world’s largest live tulip
carpet, which was prepared
by using 570 thousand tulips
in Istanbul, was presented
to citizens and tourists in
Sultanahmet Square.
This year, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality decorates
Istanbul with 20 million tulips. In Sultanahmet Square,
one of the most important symbolic monuments of
Istanbul, the world’s largest tulip rug motif was presented
to people. Prepared by the Istanbul Metropolitan
Municipality for the 5th time, a tulip carpet of 460
square meters in which 570 thousand tulips of different
colors were used attracted great attention. Many local
and foreign tourists took souvenir photographs with
tulip rugs. In the aerial footage, all the beauty of the
tulip carpet was laid out in the form of colorful motifs.
Exhibited in Sultanahmet square, where the tulip
carpet motif is located IMM President Ekrem Imamoglu
has pointed out that, making tulips carpet is becoming
a tradition, and said that it suits Istanbul the best.
“It is very important to make feel that the Istanbul is
the homeland of tulip “
İmamoğlu reminded that Turkey is the homeland of
tulips. He said, “But in recent years a special festival is
organized to promote the fact that the real homeland
of tulips is Turkey, not Holland. This is a right action to
make it a traditional festival.”
Imamoglu emphasized that it is important that the
citizens meet with the tulips in the historical Sultanahmet
Square and that this tradition is transferred
to the next generations. The ambassador of Austria
has migrated to Europe. The encountering of the tulips
with the people in Istanbul in this season of the year
is also highly symbolic. It is another beauty that the
tulips produced in tulip used in live carpet are grown in
Konya. Imamoglu said that the carpet is made on 460
thousand square meters using 570 thousand tulips of
four different colors. The ram horn, which symbolizes
fertility and heroism as the equivalent of the labor, the
buckwheat symbolizing family unity, the waterway that
emphasizes the importance of water in life and the velvet
patterns that symbolize abundance, have been used
in several sizes. It is a pleasure for us to meet you with
our carpet made of tulips and motifs.”
Lila Grup ve Bakırküre Mimarlık
işbirliğinden “Yaşayan Ofis” çıktı
Lila Grup, uzun yıllardır sahiplendiği aile, gelişim, güven, kalite
ve sorumluluk değerleri üzerine sağlıklı yaşamı ve çevreciliği
destekleyen yeni ofis hayalini Bakırküre Mimarlık ve SPM Proje
Yönetimi iş birliğiyle gerçekleştirdi.
Lila Grup ve Bakırküre Mimarlık daha sürdürülebilir
bir ofis için bir araya geldi. Ortaya çıkan daha sürdürülebilir
ve yaşanabilir yeni ofisleri hakkında bilgi
veren Lila Group Kurumsal İletişim Müdürü Banu Yaran
Kılıç ve Özel Markalar Satış Koordinatörü Burcu
Öğücü Giritli, eski ve yeni ofisler arasındaki farkları
tüm detaylarıyla anlattı.
Lila Group kimdir? Kısaca kendinizden bahsedebilir
misiniz?
Lila Group’un kökleri yaklaşık 100 yıl öncesine kadar
uzanmaktadır. Temelleri ilk olarak Hasan Öğücü ve
oğulları tarafından 1930 senesinde kurulan ilk ‘Çırçır
ve Dokumacılık’ şirketi ile atılmıştır. 2000’li yıllardan
itibaren ülkemizin ihtiyaçlarını doğrultusunda tekstil
dışında, yüksek katma değerli, ileri teknoloji gerektiren
alanlara yönelmiş ve 2005 yılında enerji sektörüne
girilmiştir. Lila Group; 2005 yılında, Türkiye’nin
hijyenik kâğıt pazarındaki hızla gelişen ihtiyaçlarını
karşılamak amacıyla %100 Türk sermayeli olarak
Lila Kağıt’ı kurmuştur. Lila Kağıt 2007 yılında dünya
standartlarında temizlik kağıtları üretme vizyonuyla
üretime başladı ve 2012 yılında yaptığımız yeni yatırımlarla,
140 bin metrekarelik alanda, 150 bin ton kapasite
ile faaliyetlerimizi sürdürüyoruz. Şu anda tek
çatı altında Doğu Avrupa, Türkiye Kafkaslar, MENA
bölgesinde, (Polonya-Çin arası) en büyük üretim tesisi
olarak faaliyetlerini sürdüren Lila Group, bugün
yaklaşık 2 milyar TL’lik Türkiye temizlik kağıtları
pazarı toplamında %12 pazar payına sahip.
Yeni ofis açma fikrinin oluşmasının nedenleri
nelerdir?
Grup olarak kurulduğumuz günden itibaren büyüyen
bir yapıda ilerledik ve son zamanlarda yaşadığımız
büyüme nedeniyle bu konu gündemimizde sıkça yer
almaya başladı. Bugün geldiğimiz noktada 5 kıtada 77
ülkeye ihracat yapıyoruz. Dolayısıyla Tekstilkent’teki
ofisimiz artık fiziksel, teknolojik altyapı ve lokasyon
olarak ihtiyaçlarımıza cevap veremiyordu. Ofisimizi
şehir merkezine çok daha yakın konumu bulunan
Kadıköy’deki Business İstanbul’a taşıyarak çalışanlarımıza
çevreci, teknolojik ve konforlu bir ofis sunmayı
arzu ettik.
70
siyel fertlerine uzun soluklu çalışmaktan memnun
olacakları bir ofis ortamı sunmayı hedefledik.
Eski ofisiniz ile yeni ofisinizi kıyasladığınızda
aralarındaki farklar nelerdir?
Yeni ofisimizi ekiplerin yöneticileri ve birbiriyle aktif
bir şekilde çalışabileceği açık ofis olarak tasarladık.
Sanırım en radikal değişikliğimiz buydu. Bu düzeni
şirket içindeki iletişimi artıran, eğlenerek çalışmayı
mümkün hâle getiren sosyal alanlarla destekledik.
Sosyal alanlardaki tasarım unsurlarımızı eğlenceli
ve geliştirici oyunlarla harmanladık. Mekân içerisindeki
yeşil olgusu, doğaya ait izleri desteklemek
amaçlı canlı bitkilere sıkça yer verildi. Leed Platinium
sertifikalı plaza gibi tüm ofis tasarımında olabildiğince
doğal ve dönüştürülebilir malzemeler tercih
ettik. Toplantı odalarımızın her biri sürdürülebilirlik
“Living Office” outcomes from
the cooperation of Lila Group
and Bakırküre Architecture
Lila Group has realized its new office dream which supports family,
development, trust, quality and responsibility values supported by
healthy life and environment, with Bakırküre Architecture and SPM
Project Management cooperation.
Lila Group and Bakırküre Architecture joined forces
for a more sustainable office. Talking about the sustainable
and enjoyable new offices, Banu Yaran Kılıç,
Lila Group corporate Communication Manager, and
Burcu Öğücü Giritli, Private Brands Sales Coordinator,
detailed the differences of old system offices and
new generation offices.
What is Lila Group? Could you please briefly tell us
about your company?
The origins of the Lila Group go back to about 100
years ago. The foundations of the company were
laid through the “Çırçır ve Dokumacılık” (Gining and
Weaving) company founded by Hasan Öğücü and his
sons in 1930In line with the needs of the country, Lila
Group headed towards the areas with high added
value that require advanced technology as of the
2000s and entered the energy sector in 2005. In 2005,
Lila Group founded ‘Lila Tissue’ with a fully national
capital to meet the rapidly evolving needs of Turkey
in the hygiene tissue paper market. Commencing its
operations in 2007 with the mission of producing hygiene
tissue papers at global standards, Lila Tissue
continues its journey in an area of 140,000 m2 with
a capacity of 150,000 ton by means of its new investments
completed in 2012. Operating as the biggest
paper manufacturing facility under a single campus
in Eastern Europe, Turkey, Caucasus and MENA regions
(between Poland and China), Lila Tissue currently
holds a total market share of 12 percent in Turkey’s
hygiene tissue papers market, which is worth of
about 2 billion Turkish Liras.
What are the reasons for opening a new office?
Lila Group has constantly grown since the day it was
founded, and this constant growth started to occupy
our agenda frequently. Today, we are exporting to
77 countries throughout 5 continents. Therefore,
our office in Tekstilkent could no longer meet our
needs in terms of location, physical and technological
infrastructure. By moving our office to Business
Istanbul located in Kadıköy, which is much closer to
the city center, we wanted to provide our employees
an environment-friendly, technological and comfortable
space. According to a research conducted by
Nowa Style Group, 74.3 percent of the employees give
importance to the office environment and design in
their selection of job. In order to determine the needs
and demands, we established the Lila Group Project
Committee and conducted several feasibility studies
in cooperation with Bakırküre Architects. We started
the project by receiving feedback on the necessary
changes, demands, improvement areas and expectations
through the surveys and workshops conducted
with the participation of Lila Group’s employees from
all levels and ages. Through our new office designed
with the desire to create a new work environment,
we aimed to offer an office environment where both
the current and potential members of the Lila Family
would be pleased to work for a long term.
What are the differences between your old and new
office?
We have designed our new office as an open office
where teams and their managers can actively work
72
together. I think this is our most radical change. We
have also supported this layout with social spaces
that increase the communication within the company
and make it possible to work with fun. We have
blended our design elements in social spaces with
fun and developmental games. We have frequently
included live plants in our new office to reflect and
support the traces of nature. For the complete design
of our office, we have chosen the most natural and
recyclable materials such as plaza with Leed Platinum
certificate. In accordance with our sustainability
vision, we have named our meeting rooms by trees. In
addition, we have developed the meeting rooms with
a comprehensive infrastructure based on easy and
fast use and designed them in a way to meet the different
needs in different square meters and different
person capacity. We have created a spacious open
office with a layout plan that aims to provide equal
access to daylight for all of our employees.
What are the values that you have prioritized while
designing your new office?
We set out with the dream of creating a new office
that supports healthy living, environmentalism and
sustainability on top of our corporate values, which
are namely Family, Development, Trust, Quality and
Responsibility, that convey our corporate philosophy
we have adopted and internalized for many years as
Lila Group. Our top concern is employee well-being.
We have a young and dynamic team. Therefore, we
decided to reflect this dynamism on our office as
well. We materialized these values we embrace through
design and brought them into life as the living
visual communication elements within the office.
After identifying the messages that can motivate the
Lila Group team by conducting the workshops, we
worked along with Federation, an expert company in
its field, on the office claddings that are an integral
part of office design and created a colorful, pleasant
and corporate culture.
From a technological point of view, what is your
most innovative move?
According to the “Future Workforce” study, 82 percent
of respondents stated that technology is quite
important in their selection of workplaces. Benefiting
from today’s latest technology, we have designed an
environment-friendly and dynamic space that facilitates
our lives. However, we have not given up on our
sustainability approach and sensitivity to the environment
and nature in these designs. Through the
efficient use of automation systems, we have focused
on the minimum energy consumption in the office. All
the details from lighting to air conditioner and from
acoustics to security, which are quite important for
the comfort of our employees, have been designed
under the guidance of expert designers and consultants
and supported by the current technological
infrastructure. Thus, we could make use of today’s
technology and facilities and achieve efficiency.
Alternatif ticaret ve finans modeli olan
barter sisteminin kuruculuğunu üstlenen
ve ekonomiye kazandıran Türk Barter
İnternational “Krizi fırsata çevirme ve
ticarette kazanma hamlesi!’’ ile üyelerine
krize karşı korunmayı ve kazanmayı
hedefleyerek üyeleri ile birilikte geniş bir
çalışma başlattı.
İlk defa nakit tasarruf yöntemi olarak kullanılmaya
başlanan ve sermaye ihtiyacının karşılanmasını, stokların
eritilmesini ve yeni pazarlara ulaşılmasını sağlayan
Barter Sistemi; bugün tüm dünya tarafından oldukça
yaygın olarak kullanılan bir sistem haline geldi. Her
olabilecekler. Bu maksatla tüm firmaları, krizlerden
etkilenmemeleri ve ticaretlerini güvenle büyütebilmeleri
için Türk Barter’a davet ediyoruz” dedi.
gelmesidir. Özellikle girişimcilerin başlangıç yıllarında
Barter Ortak Pazarı oldukça ciddi bir satış potansiyeli
sunmaktadır” açıklamasında bulundu.
Turning the crisis into an
opportunity and earning in trade
Turk Barter International, which assumed the foundation of the barter
system and brought it to the economy in Turkey as an alternative trade and
finance model, started a wide study with its members by aiming to protect
harms and fight against the crisis with the aim of turning the crisis into an
opportunity and winning in trade!
The Barter System, which was introduced for the first
time by Turk Barter as a cash saving method, provides
capital needs of the firms, sells their stocks and
has them reach to new markets. Today it has become
a widely used system in the world. With the Barter
System, which can be operated in every sector, companies
pay for the goods or services they buy at the
Barter Common Market, where they come together
and trade with each other, not with money, but in
return of the goods or services they produce. With
this system, companies both have the opportunity to
sell out their stocks, easily overcome the economic
locks they are in, and complete their investments
and start new operations. A company that receives a
product or service without paying cash using Barter,
a unique financial system, It is able to make safe and
continuous sales without being affected by the crises,
inflation and liquidity squeezes.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turk Barter M.
Sirri Simsek says, “We regret to see that many businesses
are closed in succession in times of crises.
As Turk Barter, we want the Barter System, which is
actively used in other parts of the world and which
relieves the country’s economies in times of great
crisis, to be used more widely in our country and that
the enterprises can survive in crisis periods. We invite
all enterprises to perform 20% of their commercial
transactions with the Barter System, an alternative
finance and trade model, in order to prevent the
crisis that is caused by opportunist firms obstructing
the economic flow. We aim to save businesses from
unnecessary burdens with the credit package and we
started to provide financial relieve to SMEs. Today,
businesses have to work with small profits due to
market conditions and increasing competition. Banks
and finance companies use the crises to their advantage,
leaving businesses in a difficult position. Here
we aim to reduce the burden they assumed. In this
way, firms will not sacrifice their shrinking and contracted
profitability to high costs of financing so that
they can concentrate on trade and production, their
main functions. For this purpose, we invite all companies
apply to and be a member of Turkish Barter
so that they are not affected by the crises and expand
their trade operations safely.”
“Maximum benefit from idle capacity with Turkish
Barter”
Turk Barter recommends member companies to
use Barter, an alternative trade and finance model,
demanding an increase in production of between
5% and 10% by forcing the labor and capacity that
was initially idle. These products are supplied to
the Barter System. When sales are realized to other
members in the barter system, profit rate increases.
When a product that is considered to be purchased
by spending with cash obtained from the Barter
Common Market is obtained, the idle capacity is fully
evaluated. As a result of the operation of the idle capacity
mentioned herein; It is possible to mention that
the sales of the company adding Barter model to the
sales pool increased.”
“Barter offers strong sales potential especially for
entrepreneurs”
Simsek said that applications other than Barter
System for additional sales may require intervention
on cash flow balance. “It is ensured that the member
perceives his / her approach to the Barter model as
an alternative by acting in a planned and coordinated
manner without falling into this situation. When using
the Barter System, there is a wide market where
you can make purchases, so you have not to buy in a
limited pool of companies. Companies always have
a bid process in their purchasing activities. In this
process, company officials receive bids from members
in the Barter Common Market as well as cash
offers. A member who has a receivable balance by
making sales may purchase goods or services with
Barter. One of the important advantages of the Barter
System is that it is an addition to the target market in
the marketing activities of the companies. Especially
in the early years of their enterprises, the Barter
