Swim Lessons STRONG SWIMMERS CONFIDENT SWIMMERS All ages— from infants to seniors— can learn to swim. Nurturing skills and building confidence in the water The YMCA has been America’s leading swim instructor for more than 100 years and is the most accessible community resource for swim lessons and water safety. The YMCA teaches youth, teens and adults to swim so they can stay safe around water. Progressive swimming lessons at the YMCA teach swimming skills, stroke technique and water safety, while encouraging a lifelong love of the water. Also, our nationally-recognized competitive swim teams develop strong swimmers and even better leaders. Y swim instructors are nationally certified. Their training includes CPR, AED, First Aid and Oxygen Administration. 1 2 3 Additional class times In addition to the listings in this guide other swim lesson class days and times may be available. Swim Lessons - Adult / Swim Teen/Adult Stages 1-6 Saturday Y member rate: $70 Y non-member rate: $105 This class is appropriate for multiple skill levels. Students will work on skills at their own level. From learning to place their face in the water to rotary breathing. Participants may be work on forward motion in the water or improving form to allow for multiple lap swim. All students work on skills as a group in a way that meets the individual needs. Ages: 12 and up 96388 Indoor Pool - Lower Pool 8:15am to 9am Sat, Sep 7 - Sat, Oct 19 Swim Lessons - Parent/Child / Swim Parent/Child Stage A: Water Discovery Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Y member rate: $58 Y non-member rate: $88 Accompanied by a parent and/or caregiver, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences, while parents and/or caregiver learn about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision.
