Preschool Stage 4: Stroke Introduction Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday Y member rate: $62 Y non-member rate: $93 Prerequisite: Completion of Stage 3. For Preschool age children who can swim 15 yards unassisted with their face in the water and without a flotation device. Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique. Swim Lessons - Youth / Swim Youth Stage 1: Water Acclimation Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Y member rate: $70 Y non-member rate: $105 For school age children who have never had swim lessons without a parent or guardian or are afraid of the water. Students develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit the water unassisted. This stage lays the foundation that allows for a student's future progress in swimming.
