Lifeguard Certification / Swim<br />
Ellis & Associates Lifeguarding Course<br />
Friday, Saturday, Sunday<br />
Y member rate: $175<br />
Y non-member rate: $225<br />
Prerequisites: swim 200 yards (8 lengths); tread water for 2<br />
minutes without using your hands; perform feet first surface dive<br />
to lift a 10-pound brick off the bottom of the pool. Upon 100%<br />
attendance and successful completion of water skills and written<br />
exam, participants receive a 1-year certification in Ellis and<br />
Associates Lifeguarding.<br />

Parent's Night Out / Family and Community<br />
Parent's Night Out: <strong>Jennersville</strong> <strong>YMCA</strong> – November<br />
Friday<br />
Y member rate: Free<br />
Parents finally get to see that new movie, sample a hot<br />
restaurant or just kick back for a quiet night at home.<br />
Meanwhile, the Y's well-trained and enthusiastic staff guides<br />
your children through fun activities which may include games,<br />
crafts and outside play. Parents Night Out is free for family<br />
members and is offered every Friday night from 6 - 9 pm. Space<br />
is limited. Register up to the week in advance to reserve your<br />
space. Maximum of 2 family registrations per month. Fridays this<br />
month: Nov 1, 8, 15 and 22.<br />
Ages: 6 weeks – 12 years<br />
