Our last Shabbat of the season<br />

is on Sat. June 22 will be held on<br />

Saturday, June 22 at B reakheart<br />

Reservation. They meet in the<br />

V ocational School’s parking lot off<br />

Farm Street at 9: 3 0 a.m. and the<br />

walk and talk with Rabbi Greg is<br />

usually completed by 11: 3 0 a.m. All<br />

ages are welcome.<br />

Friday evening Shabbat celebration<br />

this month begins at 7 : 3 0 p.m.<br />

on June 7 . On Friday, June 2, Rabbi<br />

has an invitation to a one-hour<br />

Jewish Meditation Circle at 7 : 3 0<br />

pm.<br />

On Friday, June 14 Shabbat<br />

will begin with a potluck dinner<br />

at 6: 3 0 p.m. There will be a welcome<br />

to new members and the installation<br />

of officers. Main dishes<br />

or sides are requested to be vegetarian,<br />

dairy, and fish. The Temple<br />

will provide challah, desserts, and<br />

beverages. There is no charge, all<br />

Shavuot is one of the Jewish festival<br />

holidays celebrated for 8 days.<br />

Originally it was a harvest festival<br />

but now commemorates when<br />

Moses received The Law, Torah for<br />

the Jewish people. There will be<br />

an Erev Shavuot with a Tikun Leil<br />

Study session on Saturday evening<br />

at 7: 30 p.m. On Sunday, June 9 the<br />

Shavuot Morning First Day service<br />

with Y izkor will be held, followed<br />

by a Dairy Luncheon. Service begins<br />

at 9: 30a m.<br />

Finally, Rabbi Greg’s continuing<br />

education series of Exploring<br />

Judaism will be held on Wed. June<br />

19 at 7 : 3 0 p.m. The topic will be<br />

learning about Mussar, Jewish<br />

Ethical Development.<br />
