Members of RangioraHigh School’s<br />
Leos Club havebeen doingtheir bit to<br />
support young peoplein their<br />
community.<br />
The club presented a$3000 cheque<br />
to Big Brothers Big Sisters of <strong>North</strong><br />
<strong>Canterbury</strong> last month. It will be used<br />
by the charitytofund more mentor<br />
matches.<br />
The school’s Leospresident,<br />
Brooklyn Beach, said club members<br />
hadselected the group as its charity<br />
thisyear as theywantedtohelp local<br />
young people.<br />
The club ran aquiz night in Juneat<br />
Five Stags,Rangiora,and several<br />
sausage sizzles at the Rangiora<br />
Sunday Market to raise the donation.<br />
Brooklyn thanked supportersand<br />
the Rangiora Lions Clubfor<br />
contributingtothe Leos’success this<br />
year.<br />

Beach CleanUpon Sunday from1pm<br />
to 3pm.<br />
