Specifically Catering To Individual Learning Requirements Of Special Needs Children<br />
Not all children learn the same way, and at ABC (Autism Behavioral Centre), therapists use the strengths/interest<br />
based model to teach. Here, at the largest ABA 1:1 (Applied Behavior Analysis) Center in Malaysia, the programs<br />
are individualised according to the child’s unique needs and level to provide better support in behaviour<br />
management and regulation. Intensive ABA (applied behaviour analysis) therapy is applied, whereby it is the<br />
“gold standard” in autism treatment being the only research and evidence supported method of intervention.<br />
ABA also benefits children with speech delays, ADHD, ADD, behavioral challenges and social challenges.<br />
International standards of intervention is adhered to, and is supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst<br />
(BCBA) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA). ABC primarily provides centre-based and home<br />
based ABA programs which have the ultimate goal to improve speech and communication skills, social skills,<br />
instil socially acceptable behaviors, school readiness skills and life skills/independence. The centre also conducts<br />
training for parents and free trainings for teachers in preschools, as well as Intensive Holiday Programmes. Parents<br />
who enrol their children at ABC have found the centre to be flexible, with therapists who are generous with<br />
their time and resources.<br />
