PAC report
Greetings from the PAC. Our current balance is $235.98.
This campaign year we dispersed the following: *indicates won their seat

This year we will begin raising money to support our South Dakota legislators who will be running for seats in
the legislature. The candidates that we traditionally support are those that are responsive to Nursing issues
that concern the health and welfare of our citizens. I will have a limited amount of cakes this year so be sure
to purchase your piece of cake early at the convention to support PAC. Let us know if you want/need a receipt
for your purchase.
I would like to invite you to become a member of PAC. We have 2 times a year that would take a little of
your time and that is prior to convention and then at Nurses Day at the Legislature. We are welcome to new
members and new ideas.
I want to thank each of you that donate to the PAC, without your generous contributions we would not be
able to be monetarily involved which adds strength to our one voice.
As a final note I was looking at the latest numbers of nurses in South Dakota which is close to 20,000. My first
thought was that if each member contributed $1 per year our PAC would be an extremely strong voice! Just
let that sink in……
