Burbank Public <strong>Library</strong> will be offering unlimited eBook copies of After the Flood by<br />
Kass<strong>and</strong>ra Montag, an inventive <strong>and</strong> riveting epic saga depicting a world that has been<br />
utterly transformed. After years of slowly overtaking the continent, rising floodwaters<br />
have obliterated America’s great coastal cities <strong>and</strong> then its heartl<strong>and</strong>, leaving nothing but<br />
an archipelago of mountaintop colonies surrounded by a deep expanse of open water.<br />
After the Flood will be available free for download <strong>October</strong> 7—21, <strong>2019</strong> <strong>and</strong> there will be no waitlists or<br />
holds for the title. Only your Burbank <strong>Library</strong> card, <strong>and</strong> the Libby app are needed to download the eBook.<br />

Kass<strong>and</strong>ra Montag grew up in rural Nebraska <strong>and</strong> now lives<br />
in Omaha with her husb<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> two sons. She holds a<br />
master’s degree in English Literature <strong>and</strong> her award-winning<br />
poetry <strong>and</strong> short fiction has appeared in journals <strong>and</strong><br />
anthologies. After the Flood is her first novel.<br />
