Who are the Friends and what do they do? The
Library plays a vital role in the community. The
Friends of the Burbank Public Library have been
supporting our Library since 1980, raising thousands
of dollars each year to fund programs, purchases,
and service to benefit the Burbank community.
To help us celebrate, stop by the Central Library on
Saturday, October 19, from 12-5 pm or the Buena
Vista Branch Library on Monday, October 21, from
5-8 pm. Meet the Friends and pick up information,
treats, and freebies! Discover how you can be a
library supporter – become a member of the
Friends; volunteer to help with Friends’ fundraising
efforts; or help the Friends financially.
