Muxton Councillor<br />
The Donnington <strong>and</strong> Muxton Parish Council<br />
Christmas Festival <strong>and</strong> lights ‘switch on’ will<br />
take place on 24th November at The Parade<br />
Donnington from 2pm, all are welcome. Anyone<br />
who is interested in assisting or having a stall<br />
should contact the Parish Council Events Officer<br />
Mrs. Holly Westwood at the Parish Council on<br />

The footpath along Donnington Wood Way will<br />
be receiving some attention over the next few<br />
weeks to cut back the vegetation making it safer<br />
for children making their way to <strong>and</strong> from school<br />
during the winter months.<br />
Any residents that have suggestions regarding the<br />
design for the memorial by the soldiers bench in<br />
Muxton please contact the<br />

Ceilidh - Charity<br />
Night 27TH OCTOBER - 7:30PM<br />
Come <strong>and</strong> join us for a fun<br />
filled evening of wild dancing,<br />
good music <strong>and</strong> great<br />
company at the Cavalier<br />
Centre for our annual Ceilidh.<br />
A Ceilidh is a traditional dance<br />
night where everyone joins in,<br />
regardless of age or ability,<br />
everyone can take part, young<br />
or old, experienced dancers<br />
to beginners <strong>and</strong> even those<br />
with two left feet!<br />
You will be under the watchful eye of our well known caller<br />
Martin Wood (tallest Town Cryer in the world) who’ll be with<br />
you every step of the way – walking you through the moves<br />
before each dance <strong>and</strong> continuing to call out helpful hints<br />
throughout the rest of the dances. Our fantastic b<strong>and</strong> are<br />
guaranteed to provide a whirling evening of jigs, reels <strong>and</strong><br />
live entertainment.<br />
This event is a fundraiser for the Cavalier Centre which is<br />
home of Perry Riding for the Disabled. The Cavalier Centre<br />
provides life changing, inclusive equestrian activities for<br />
disabled children <strong>and</strong> adults.<br />
