Fall Porsche Promenade People’s Choice Concours<br />

Welcome to the results of the <strong>2019</strong> Porsche Maverick<br />
People’s Choice car show, held on September 22 at<br />
Lakeside Market in Plano. This is where everyone cheers<br />
with loud applause and waving of hands. Go ahead -<br />
you know you want to do it!<br />
The winners for the day were as follows:<br />

Robert Aines, 1969 911E<br />
Raj Gill, 1996 911 Turbo<br />
Chase Meyer, 1988 911 Carrera<br />
Chris Sorrells, 1982 911 SC<br />

It was a beautiful day<br />
for the show here in North<br />
Texas. There was such<br />
nice weather and a large<br />
number of beautiful cars<br />
to see. Who could ask for<br />
more? (Other than power<br />
for the DJ . . . .)<br />
Once we all settled in<br />
and went over every inch<br />
of our cars, we all started<br />
looking around, chatting,<br />
bench racing, and trying<br />
to pick our favorite cars .<br />
. . besides our own. Wink<br />
wink nudge nudge.<br />

So many people helped out to make this show a<br />
success, including Bill Orr, who tabulated the scores<br />
from home. A big shout out goes to Concours Co-<br />
Chair Mike Mahoney, and especially to Volunteer Chair<br />
Landon Stogner, who was kind enough to pick up the<br />
sponsor car from Park Place Porsche Dallas, and deliver<br />
the tent, table, and awards!<br />
