Reindeer Run<br />
Runners, walkers, skippers and<br />
strollers are invited to participate in the<br />
Reindeer Run on Dec. 7, stepping off at<br />
12:30 p.m., with proceeds benefitting<br />
Canal Winchester Human Services.<br />
A first-of-its-kind event in downtown<br />
Canal Winchester, participants have staggered<br />
starting points at four different<br />
restaurants and are invited to wear their<br />
favorite holiday-themed costume such as<br />
Santa, Mrs. Claus, reindeer, elf, a present<br />
or even the Grinch.<br />
Spectators are invited to join in the fun<br />
and dress in costume. People are encouraged<br />
to bring an unwrapped toy or book to<br />
donate to needy children in the community.<br />
Doors open at Barrel & Boar, Loose<br />
Rail, Roman’s Pizza and Shade on the<br />
Canal at 10 a.m. with check-in until 12:15<br />
p.m. Each participating restaurant is<br />
awarding a prize for the best holiday costume<br />
within their group prior to the start<br />
of the event.<br />

The fee is $20 and<br />

Breakfast with Santa<br />
Santa Claus is coming to town...for<br />
breakfast! On Dec. 14, Canal Winchester<br />
will host its annual Breakfast with Santa<br />
at the Frances Steube Community/Senior<br />
Center, 22 S. Trine St.<br />
Two breakfast sessions will be offered to<br />
help Santa get ready for his ‘round-theworld<br />
trip delivering toys. The first session<br />
will take place from 8:30-10 a.m.; the second<br />
session will run from 10:30 a.m. to<br />
noon.<br />
Tickets are available at the Canal<br />
Winchester Municipal Building, 36 S. High<br />
St., and the Frances Steube<br />
Community/Senior Center on weekdays<br />
between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. while supplies<br />
last.<br />
Only 80 tickets are available for each<br />
session.<br />
Each $5 ticket will admit one adult or<br />
child (children under one year old are free)<br />
for breakfast.<br />
Children will also receive a gift bag and<br />
visit with Santa. Please bring a camera for<br />
pictures with Santa.<br />

benefit Canal Winchester Human Services’<br />
Adopt-A-Family program.
