Feb. 8 — Paws In The Park
Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park
hosts Paws in the Park, the city’s largest
annual festival and parade, including
adoptable pets, doggy sports,
Pawrade costume contest with cash
prizes, food trucks, a beer garden,
pet-friendly vendors, a mobile vet providing
free vaccinations, and more.
Time: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Proceeds benefit
Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.

Feb. 13 & 14 — Over The Edge &
Courage Party
Hyatt Regency Orlando, 9801
International Drive, Orlando, hosts Over
the Edge on Feb. 14, during which fundraisers
rappel down the side of the
32-story resort. The minimum fundraising
goal is $1,000 per rappeller, and
the $50 registration fee counts toward
the goal. The minimum goal must be
met by Feb. 12 at 11:59 p.m. to be
able to rappel. On Feb. 13 from 7-9
p.m., Melia Suites in Celebration, 225
Celebration Place, hosts the Courage
Party. This event includes complimentary
appetizers, a signature courage
cocktail, live disc jockey, prizes and
more. All fundraisers who meet their
goals will be invited to attend with a
guest. Proceeds benefit Give Kids The

Feb. 14 — Lobster & Laughter
The Rotary Club of Windermere makes
Valentine’s Day easy with its annual
Lobster & Laughter event, including a
surf-n-turf dinner, entertainment by the
Mad Cow Theatre Group, and a silent
auction, at Windermere Town Hall, 520
Main St., Windermere. Time: 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $125 per person, with proceeds
benefiting local charities. For more

Feb. 20 — West Orange Women Charity
Luncheon
