02 –6March 2020
Thegeneral public is to be advised thataNew
Zealand Army Exercise will be conductedinthe
Oxford area over the period 2–6March2020.
Theexercise will involveupto30personnel of
Delta Company, 2/1Battalion, RoyalNew Zealand
InfantryRegimentfromBurnham MilitaryCamp.
Training will involvesoldiers carrying individual
weapons systems whilst moving around the
area, blank ammunition will also be fired
during this period.
AllBlank firing activities will be limited
to the conservation area. Blank rounds
and pyrotechnics will be used from 10am
until 6pm daily.The exercise will also involve
the movementoftroops and vehicles by
dayand night.
