All Member Party and Tour Preview

by Sam Bryant, Tours Co-Chair

Spring is right around the corner, and

it’s time to get your Porsche in order for

a great tour season. We have to get those

Porsches waxed and coated in time for

the All Member Tour and Party!

Our first tour for the 2020 season

is the All Member Driving Tour and is

scheduled for March 22 at 10 am which

is the first official weekend of spring!

The driving tour this year is 48.4 miles

and lasts about an hour.

We have two classes for driving tours.

Choose Vintage class if you want a more

relaxed scenic tour, or Modern class for

the same tour as we have provided in the

past. Whichever class you choose, it’s

your decision, no matter what Porsche

you drive.

After you register, we will send you

all the information needed to attend, three days before

the tour. We also hand out packets the day of the tour

with all the information as well. The Drivers’ Briefing

Road, Gunter, Texas 75058. Once inside, you will

find the country breakfast bar, including eggs, smoked

Applewood Bacon, sausage patties, breakfast potatoes,

seasonal fruit. I almost forgot about the

Southern Biscuit Bar! Warm biscuits,

buttermilk fried chicken, and all the

toppings. This was a big hit last year, so

we ordered double for this year. Should

be enough!

Registration is now open. The

brunch is $25.00 per person. New

members are our special guests with

FREE registration discount codes

available; email social@mavpca.org to

get yours!

will begin at 10 am. Most tour attendees

arrive early to meet new friends and

socialize with everyone.

There is a $5.00 registration fee

per Porsche this year for the tour. It

will start at Grayson College, 1455 W.

Van Alstyne Parkway, Van Alstyne, Tx

75495. This year’s route will take us

through long straightaways, winding

roads, and elevation changes. You will

pass through the towns of Van Alstyne,

Weston, Celina, Pilot Point, and Tioga,

finally arriving at our destination.

At the destination, the fun will begin

at 11 am. This will be at One Preston
