Meaning

Dadima has sweet and astringent taste and

becomes sweet after digestion. It is unctuous

and light to digest and prevents excess water

loss from the body. Dadima is wholesome and

suitable to all, satiating and promotes tissue

growth. It is a promoter of intellect and body

strength. Pacifies all three doshas and cures

burning sensation, fever, and diseases of heart,

mouth and throat.
