Recipe 2Vasa AvalehaIngredientsto manage chroniccough and asthmaVasa leaf juice: 750 mlSugar candy/ sugar: 400 gHoney: 400 gCow’s ghee: 100 gFine powder of Pippali: 100 g*(* If you cannot get Pippali, add ginger or black pepperpowder)PreparationTake 1.5 kg of Vasa leaves.Wash thoroughly and then steam in a pressure cooker for 5minutes.Cool and make a paste of this in a mixer grinder, adding alittle water if required.Squeeze the paste through a clean thin cotton/muslin cloth,pressing gently to obtain the juice.
