Day 27 The Psalter Psalms 1ZZ, 1'13
176 I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost; • 0 seek
6 So that the sun shall not burn thee by day, • neither
thy servant, for I do not forget thy commandments.
the moon by night.
7 The LoRD shall preserve thee from all evil; • yea, it is
even he that shall keep thy soul.
The Twenty-seventh Day.
8 The LoRD shall preserve thy going out, and thy coming
in, • from this time forth for evermore.
Morning Prayer.
Psalm 120. Ad Dominum.
Psalm 122. Ltetatus sum.
WHEN I was in trouble, I called upon the LoRD, • and
WAS glad when they said unto me, • We will go into
he heard me.
I the house of the LoRD.
2 Deliver my soul, 0 LoRD, from lying lips, • and from
2 Our feet shall stand in thy gates, • 0 Jerusalem.
a deceitful tongue.
3 Jerusalem is built as a city' that is at unity in itselE
3 What reward shall be given or done unto thee, thou
4 For thither the tribes go up, even the tribes of the
false tongue? • even mighty and sharp arrows, with hot burning
coals.
of the LoRD.
LoRD, • to testify unto Israel, to give thanks unto the Name
4 Woe is me, that I am constrained to dwell with
5 For there is the seat of judgment, • even the seat of
Meshech, • and to have my habitation among the tents of
the house of David
Kedar!
6 0 pray for the peace of Jerusalem; • they shall prosper
that love thee.
5 My soul hath long dwelt among them' that are enemies
unto peace.
7 Peace be within thy walls, • and plenteousness within
6 I labour for peace; but when I speak unto them
thy palaces.
thereof, • they make them ready to battle.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, • I will wish
thee prosperity.
Psalm 12 I. Leva'lli oculos.
9 Yea, because of the house of the LoRD our God, • I
WILL lift up mine eyes unto the hills; • from whence
will seek to do thee good
I cometh my help?
2 My help cometh even from the LORD,' who hath
Psalm 123. Ad te leva'lli omlos meos.
U
made heaven and earth.
NTO thee lift I up mine eyes, • 0 thou that dwellest
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved;' and he
in the heavens.
that keepeth thee will not sleep.
2 Behold, even as the eyes of servants look unto the
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel' shall neither slumber
hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto
nor sleep.
the hand of her mistress, • even so our eyes wait upon
5 The LoRD himself is thy keeper; • the LORD is thy
the LoRD our God, until he have mercy upon us.
defence upon thy right hand;
