Home learning...
What a fantastic week Year 6 have had! It has been lovely to see so many of
them back in school and those at home working so hard. The children at school
have enjoyed their ‘bubbles’ and have adapted to the new routines of school
so well. We even enjoyed a virtual quiz with both bubbles, children from home
and Mr Anderson. It was lovely to feel as though most of the class were back
together again. This week, Year 6 has been focusing on the book The Explorer
by Katherine Rundell. We have enjoyed reading the book and even had a go at
designing a new front cover as well as creating a ‘survival list’ for if we were
stuck in the Amazon Rainforest. Some children have also entered into The Ickabog
competition where they are in with a chance of their drawing being published
in J K Rowling’s new book. The entries look amazing and they should be
so proud of how much effort and detail they have put into them. Well done to
all of Year 6 on how well you have adapted to this new week and your continued
hard working and positive attitude!
