Explores his solitary flight o’er the scape of Hell.<br />

Coast som times he scours, <strong>and</strong> then shaves the deep,<br />

High touring the fiery concave, thus the flying fiend til’<br />

At last appeer Hell bounds with circling fires<br />

Reaching to the horrid roof. And there he sees<br />

Gates thrice threefold, brass, iron, rock, <strong>and</strong> on<br />

Either side a formidable shape! Miscreated anon.<br />
