RECOVERY ON THE EMERALD ISLE
by Martin Scholes
Ireland, it’s separated from Great Britain by the North
Channel, the Irish Sea, and St Georges Channel. It’s the
second largest island of the British Isles, the third largest
in Europe and the twentieth largest on Earth.
Ireland is divided between the Republic of Ireland and
Northern Ireland which is part of the United Kingdom. Current
figures put the overall population at 6.7million, which places
the Island as the second most populous island in Europe after
Great Britain.
It is a beautiful place, breathtaking and rugged coasts, and
endless sea views, where better to visit deserted beaches,
lighthouses, and other wonderful scenery. Over 9 million tourists
visit Ireland each year, often arriving by car towing a caravan or
trailer. Families flock to this stunning part of the world to enjoy
the rich fruits and hospitality that the friendly people of this
enchanted place provide.
Our colleagues located on the island, often tell us about its
beauties and the pride they feel about working and living on the
Emerald isle, so we asked a few to tell us a couple of tales.
With the rest of the world vehicle recovery operators in Ireland
have had to cope with the unique set of problems that the
Coronavirus has brought to the world.
A spokesman for A1 Marsden Recovery said: “Due to the lock
down a lot vehicles had to sit idle for quite a while.,
“This can have a detrimental effect on the health and life of
a vehicle’s battery. If you need a replacement battery and for it
to be fitted at your home / place of work (with social distancing
measures) call us on 02890682892 or 02838310111 and we can
help you find the correct battery and quote for delivery and
fitting.”
They’ll also be able to recover your vehicle should it suffer a
breakdown caused by a failed battery or any other reason.
They also recently loaded up for multi-vehicle repatriation
around southern Ireland and commented: “what a beautiful day
it was for it.”
