This course is characterised by
experimental and integrated
learning. The focus of the course
is on creative problem solving
supported by research and analysis
so that you can define, understand
and contribute to the area in which
you wish to work.
DISTINCTIVE MODULES
• Part one is designed to enable
you to try new things to identify
what you like doing
• Part two involves you working
more independently to put your
new skills into practice, working
in the area you eventually wish to
be employed in
• Each year ends with an exhibition
of your work
COMBINES WELL WITH
GCSE Maths or GCSE English.
ASSESSMENT
The course is 60% coursework
unit and 40% exam unit. Both are
internally assessed and externally
moderated.
